I have applied for the position, even though I dont expect to get it (it's just somthing I felt I owed to myself to do after talking to a few people).

TH will probably want a selection to choose from, but I fully expect sciguyCO to be the next correspondant.

I propose Gracchus the Troll.

Seriously speaking, the role of the new Chef correspondent will change quite a bit, from facilitating huge fixes and changes to taking new content propositions and breaking them down to bite-sized chunks to feed to the devs. This will require learning to understand and utilize the SOE SWG planning and implementation processes, the people behind them and the natural openings for content propositions in this framework. Whichever candidate feels up to it gets my virtual vote. They themselves know their strengths and weaknesses best.

Edit: not to mention painting a chef development vision compelling enough for the devs to feel the urge to develop this aspect on a personal level.

Gracchus can be the Correspondent's mascot or laptroll. Doesn't matter to me. Can we vote on that as well?

I'd be delighted to see either SciguyCo or Fatgit as correspondent

I also support Gracchus as laptroll

Nothing fishy here. I told several people that after the chef revamp went in I was planning on stepping down. And the only reason why I am doing this is that I want other people to have turns at being the correspondent.

You are right, I am stepping down because I am slightly burnt out, but it is not because of the upcoming changes, but because of the changes we just had. But really, I was thinking about stepping down after the chef revamp since December.
