Several foods seem to have a duration that is way too short. For example:

Corellian ale 37-43 seconds
Deuterium pyro 43-65 seconds
D. Fizz pudding 39-50 seconds
Exo-protein wafers 13-18 seconds
Flameout 3-5 seconds (!)
Synthsteak 27-39 seconds
Thakitillo 60-120 seconds
Ormachek 9-19 seconds
Karkan ribenes 20-30 seconds

Some of these foods seem like those numbers would be better suited to # of hits as many of those used to be. Even with BE nutrients, they go by way too fast. Add to that the high filling on some like flameout and they are all but useless. Who wants to use up 1/2-2/3 or their stomach for a 5 second effect? There are other foods that seem too short on time but these were the shortest duration foods there are.

With these new short time frames on the food/drinks, will the stomic filling duration remain 30 min?

Smuggler's Delight is bugged in Live. Ate one(93% downer reduction) before taking a Pixie and my downer was 40 minutes when it normally is 30 seconds.

The patch notes for TC-Ep3 stated that they would be "Increasing values of accuracy and defense buffs and debuffs for a more noticable effect" for this publish.

I went in and made a new set of the foods that should have been affected. All of the foods listed as being OFFENSIVE on the updated food chart were increased in strength except for Rakririan burnout. Duration is still unchanged. The foods listed as DEFENSIVE showed no change except for Elshandruu pica t. and Vegeparsine which got a strength boost but not a duration boost. They probably didn't need one anyway. No foods that I tested received a bonus to duration.

K-18 rations and Parwan nutricake have bugged stat. names (among other problems) and T'illa-T'iil is still the "mystery drink." I tested a few of the h/a/m buff foods and there appeared to be no change there either. On a side note, the modifier on Crispic was increased, but it still has one stat that cannot be changed. It is still static, just higher than it was before. I have updated the food chart to reflect these changes.

Great, that means I'm going to have to recalculate those foods. Not that I don't trust your numbers, Vidi, it's just.....well, I prefer having numbers I've validated myself. I noticed the change to Correlian Ale and Deut Pyro (with my Live toon, not on TC)and updated those.

Just FYI, T'illa T'ill does still reduce the Food bar filling, we just can't see the stat. I tested by filling up onfood then drinking a T'ill, and saw the food bar drop roughly 5-10%.

Thanks for the heads up on the T-T Sciguy. I was so concerned about looking at the food to determine which stat it boosts that I didn't think about eating it on a non-full stomach. And now, on to other bugs...

I just returned to town yesterday to find CU had gone live. As I was unloading my vendor and restocking it, I noticed a couple changes I did not expect.

1) Bespin Port and Pyollian Cake have duration now.

2) My +15 Pyollian Cake is now +14.

3) My +33% Vegash is now +30.

I am still crying about the Thak, I have about 80 crates of the useless stuff.

Are the changes listed intentional?

Pull them out of the crates. I know my +15 Pyollian showed as +14 crates (or on the singles that converted). Not sure about the veghash but probably same issue.

Here's some stuff I came across tonight (many overlapping with Vidi's findings):

  1. Drinks do not display their quantity stat during crafting. There is no "uses remaining" line item in the details. The drink stack does (obviously) have a value once the prototype has been created.

    • To recreate: craft any drink, note the lack of "uses remaining" stat in the details box on the upper left.

  2. Aitha has no experimentable duration. Pre-CU, this drink gave an instant mind heal, which did not need a duration. Post-CU it gives a Health/Mind regen buff with a duration, which cannot be improved.

    • To recreate: Craft Aitha. It has a duration of 5:00, and experimenting in any category has no effect on this value.

  3. Caf has both duration and buff size affected by "Nutrition" experimentation, which is different from every other food item, where buff and duration are two different categories. {note: this is retained from current Live behavior}

    • To recreate: Craft Caf. It has no "Flavor" category, but experimenting in "Nutrition" increases both the buff size and the duration.

  4. Multi-stat foods are acting weirdly. For example, Crispic gives a bonus to both Melee and Ranged accuracy. However, experimenting on the buff size (spending points in Nutrition) only increases Melee accuracy. Ranged accuracy stays at +15 regardless of experimentation. Caf also has this behavior: it buffs both Health and Mind regen, however experimentation only effects the Health bonus, Mind Regen stays at +100.

    • To recreate: craft a multi-buff food such as Caf or Crispic. Note the initial buff size numbers. Spend experimentation points in Nutrition, and only one of the buff values change.

They also do not display their quantity after the item has been finished. I'm not sure if this has been covered or not, but is there a way to ascertain how many uses are in the drink, short of actually drinking it repeatedly to find out? I just made some elshandruu pica thundercloud and to my surprise, the defensive bonus is much higher than it used to be, but if it's only a one shot, one use deal, it's going to end up being a very expensive drink in comparason to what it used to be.

Create prototype first and you'll see how many uses it has. Without adding points to Pica I got 18 uses. Then I just made sure to put it in the name. They do need to fix this though.

Yeah, I caught that after the fact. It didn't appear as though the finished products were displaying a quantity either, until I remembered that the little "18" in the top right corner of the icon = number of uses. DOH. My brain has been so boggled by all of the stressful new changes, that I can't even remember big, glaring parts of my profession!

I pointed out the lack of uses for drinks in my thread from when I tested on TC, though neither our blueglowy or our corr. seemed to care or even post in the thread.......

I did some experimenting with Pikatta and Vegeparsine with my Jedi today... He's lvl 80 combat level with 178 melee defense fighting a lvl 80 piket longhorn female from dantooine. I let the piket hit me without fighting back for about 15 minutes (turned out to be around 450 attacks in that time).

No food: piket missed with about 5% of its attacks

+100 melee def Vegeparsine: piket missed with about 11.5% of its attacks

54% pikatta pie: piket missed with about 12.6% of its attacks and its damage was reduced by 12.5% (see below)

54% pikatta pie and +100 vegeparsine: piket missed with about 17.6% of its attacks and its damage was reduced by 12.5% (see below)

Every attack hit me for 144 dmg until I took the pikatta. After eating the pie that damage was reduced to 126 per attack (every single attack). Looks like pikatta also affords the user a dmg reduction bonus. For this particular situation, it reduced the damage by about 12.5%. I'm not sure yet whether it's based on my character, what I'm fighting, the pikatta itself, or if all pikatta now reduces damage taken by 12.5% regardless of stats. If anyone would like to run a similar test with a different profession and compare numbers, that'd be most helpful
