I agree 100%. I like my Artisan foods alot. They are eay to make, have good stats, and sell very well. However...I want my chef foods/drinks to be similar in popularity.

Thats the point i tried to get across. The only way i can get foods like Vas brandy to be worth selling is to use duration adds. And at 30k milk per run that really is a pain in the butt.
Thats my gripe as well. The original filling average of 50 was in place to balance the fact that you could really get a nice duration on things like brandy. Now with a average duration of what maybe 10 minutes its really overkill to have the filling so high.
The benefit of many of the changed master chef foods simply is not good enough to justify large fillings and low durations.
And....if they take the time to revamp these problem areas for the love of Darth Vader's smelly socks please add more artwork. There is even artwork on the cantina drinks you can buy in Mos Eisley we dont have in our drinks.
Here we are what two years later ? and we still have the same artwork for foods/drinks in many areas.
If SOE can create the entire world of Kashyyyk then it must not be THAT hard to make my Canape look like something other then a frozen calzone !

Why on Naboo would you call for the nerf of some of our best selling products?

Read the whole post mate. Was just to get some attention. Good points in there though. Ones which many of us have been speaking about since the CU hit.

I did read the posts. The problem is that they are unlikely to change and of the fundamental attributes of Chef foods. They may choose to fox some of the foods that are currently broken, but to ask for less filling or longer duration is not likely to facilitate any changes. By presenting it this way though, it would be more likely that the devs jsut say "you're right! Now here's you some 50 point blob candy"

Very good points, but unfortunatly with the only other foods in the game being made by Artisans thats all we have to compare them too. I haven't once mentioned nerfing Artisan to the devs, all i have ever done has asked for Chef foods to be looked at. We need something to happen as we all know. But when people get frustrated they vent they're anger out on the most similar thing, which to us is artisan foods.
But i think we can all agree something does need to be done.
I certainly have never vented my anger on these boards
