Why do you only experiment one point at a time? Does it gives better stats overall?

I always experiment using all of the points I plan on using in that stat at one time. (8 points into nutrition: 1 exp, 4 points into flavor: 1 exp). Doing this not only allows you to make better foods, but you also will have shorter factory runs after the complexity fix a couple weeks ago.
