Im a science buff....mostly dealing with A&P. (like arnold said...makes you a more effecient killer) but here is one that a few might get.

I cant figure out if this is what its supposed to do or not. Im a 1222 freelance pilot and have about 67k xp which is enough to make me 2222. I go to the person at the bottom of the lucky despot.....but when i click on her i automatically get a mission about escorting cargo ships or such. I think this is a duty mission becuase 1. its symbol in the datapad looks like an infinity 2. I did the mission for like 45 minutes and it never ended...just continuous shooting fighters. Anyway, she wont even give me the choice of training, so im like stuck

Is there somebody else i need to go see? i went back to the eisley cantina and they wouldnt tlak to me. Is this a bug or am i not doing something right?

No, the npc has 1 speech bubble and gives me the mission. I go up and meet an escort. And then different amounts of fighters attack for like 45 minutes...seems like a duty mission. Yea, before i had a choice of three duty mission, but not anymore.

Then it must be a regular mission if you dont have a choice i think. just try completing it, even duties end sometime

Do the mission again and this time read what it says in the quest tab and your journal. You're probably supposed to dock with something and until you do the enemies will keep spawning.

Smuggler's Alliance is pretty notorious for having long boring escort missions. Check in your journal after you get the mission, it will say if its a duty or not. If it IS a duty, then you got bugged somehow. I'd say either put a CSR ticket in, or drop it and relearn it.


But I'd say 90% sure that its a regular mission and not a duty.
