Thread: New site for finding resources for Chef

Lots of great ideas in this site, especially grouping by profession or product.
I already told you this before in-game, but I find the site difficult to use when fruit are not grouped together. the same for veggies, and cereal. I also find a scrolling frame inside the page difficult to use. There's nothing wrong with an extremely long page. A long page would actually be easier to use because I can just use my scroll wheel and zip through the stats, rather than adjust the page first and then try to see lots of data in a tiny window.
Anyway, I hope you can implement my suggestions. Kudos for all the work you've done!

That is what we intend to do - setting up the new data structures is a major task - please bear with us this one will take us a while to implement. We also intend to allow the sort by rank (based on the wieghted stats of each schenatic)
As always, useability is a major concern to us and we will implement it with ease of use in mind.

Uhm, why isn't wood listed under Chef? We use it you know?
And maybe a "filter"-function when you search for profession-based resources?
Maybe even a function that could show us what would be the best currently available resources to use for - in chef - nutrition, duration, filling or quantity (other stats for other profs) in various products?
This would make the site a lot better, as it really can't offer me anything at the moment.

Looks good!
My only suggestion would be to explain the result-set. Very cool that resources are listed below the schematics, but I'm not clear what those are. Are they just current resources, or are they the best resources for that item (based on a point total) or??? Also, wasn't clear why some planets were bold, others were not.
Again, great work! This isn't intended to be a flame, just a suggestion!

Thank you for the feedback - we are planning major changes as a result of the CU - some bit have been updated but major work on the schematics search page.
SWG-Resources is still one of the most popular site for finding resources. As you can see by the numbers above, right now over 41,000 visitors.
