Expirementing on Qty is very odd...I used a heavy Qty enhancer in BoH with a cask. Its started with 27 uses I put one point at a time in the qty line and the qty didnt chang until after 6 or 7 points. it jumped from 27 to 41 uses.

I too experienced this. I put all points into quantity for casked Spiced tea and it didnt jump up till after my last experiment.

It's that "rollover" thing I tried to lay out. It looks like BoH with a small glass will have either 2 or 3 uses, and you have to experiment quantity over 50-60% to get that third use.

The cask and BE component are still multiplying based on that same 2-3 base quantity, there's no gradual increase based on experimentation.

So it probably went like this. You started out with 2 * 3 (for the cask) * 4.5 = 27. Hmm, do heavy nutrition additives go up to 350, or am I missing something? Anyway, you then experiment up to the point where a BoH in a small glass would switch from 2 to 3. Now the quantity immediately jumps from 27 to 3 * 3 * 4.5 = 41.

What I'd rather see is the multipliers get applied before the quantity gets truncated to a whole number. So if you experiment to 34% the BoH quantity is something like 2.3, so you'd have 2.3 * 3 * 4.5 = 31.05 (rounded down to 31). This would make the larger containers and quantity tissues even more useful, since the quantity wouldn't be quite as discontinuous (requiring a lot of experimentation points to get any increase).

Having played around a lot with it last night I've come to the conclusing that it really isn't worth making large glasses at all. In fact, most of the times, casks are not worth it either unless you are making some run with extremely rare quality resources. Mostly it is cheaper to skip the resource requirements (150K units of gems just to make a single run - that's 4 heavy harvs running on a 90% spot for 3 days) does not compare well to just using 3x the amount of resources with the factory.
