Thread: 19 Questions part III: Revenge of the cookie dough
These questions really should be asking for information about something rather than asking for something to be changed in the game. That is what the correspondance issues are for. Unless a change is scheduled, it will get the, wait till after JTL.
However what I would like to see is all the crafting profession in protest to the resource stack size ask that very question. It is an internal PR nightmare as these sort of things are placed in reports that get sent to the main SoE big wigs. It will get more attention to our storage concerns, which by this point, is probably every crafter'sbiggest concern.
Q: What roll will chefs play in the SE? Will there be food specifically for space skills?
or
Q: What where the devs expectations on BE food? Currently BE food is considered the only option for some people.
Nerdcore wrote:This one isnt only related to chef, and i cant seem to find a definitive answer anywhere:q: Does the assembly skill effect only the initial combine of a product, or does it also effect each experimentation attempt?
this one has already been answered a while ago by people who did extensive testing...can't remember who or when, but assembly only affects the initial combine, and with the exception of ws's (krayt and limited use schems) most professions don't have much use for +assembly...well except for that 1 day where it really made a big difference. for better experimentation results/more points...you need +experimentation...for less crit fails on the combine...you need more +assembly.
I have a question that we might already know the answer to. Are they going to rebalance foods during the combat revamp? In the leaked State of the Game letter, it said that buffs were going to be balanced. Is food included in that or are our foods going to remain unchanged?
If somebody already knows the answer, please tell me because I'm really curious. If not, it might be a good question to ask.
If I recall correctly, the devs told us that the food revamp was done with the combat revamp in mind, that we were to shush and wait because many of the weak-seeming foods (compared to what we had before, like sunburns and rysh) would be uberer post-combat-revamp, and the brandy-brandy-brandy craze would vanish. Knock on wood I guess.
