pretty sure thats +125, but im not sure how fs experimentation fits into that.
So why stop at +12?
People talk about +12 as if it's as good as it gets.

I was a Ranger to start and still am. Since I was I had the ability to gather any resouce I needed and wanted to try my luck with a crafting profession as an Alt andwith the revamp coming(i picked up a 2nd account and chef before the revamp) I decided to check out Chef. I really enjoyed it and it was the breath of fresh air i needed from the non stop killing I was used to. After the revamp I decided to go ahead and pick up BE and as a 10 point chef with BE i sold quite a bit of food. Then one day my guild and I were doing the vette and we looted a +10 tape and I had the apron already. A few weeks later I looted a +17 tape off of Nyax so I gave my +10 tape(well hat actually) to a friend and now I'm a +12 chef.

You can make decent food without the 12 points but be prepared to sell them very cheap and you will need the best resources around to compete.I created a nice business and made a name for myself as a 10 point but it is so much more fullfilling knowing I'm making the best I can with my resources.
Search the bazaar religiously. I used to logout right next to the Coronet Bazaar so that when I logged on I could do a quick check. You'd be surprised what you will find. Some examples:
Food Assembly +8 : 2000 credits
Food Assembly +3 : 6000
Food Experimentation +2 : 6000
Numerous +1's
and I bought similar ones in all the crafting professions such as weaponsmith and armorsmith which I sold for a hefty profit on the forums. But for the most part I had to buy the better onesfor what I thought was a staggering price off the trade forums, but you will make it back ten fold in a month or so If your business savy is keen just on your food sales alone.

Never touched a tape in my swg life(over year all crafting profs done), tapes may help but resource's still the key. Been putting out canape over 700 with 33 fill, brandies with punch lasting 52 min. Worked with AS/WS also, sure i may never make the "uber' weapon you see on the auction channel selling for 15 mil but I can live with making good stuff that anybody can afford.
