one question.....

where are all the people incapped on the floor from eating/drinking? thats what happens at my place.

Yes, on the test center master chefs can place cantinas.

I don't suppose they actually had enough foresight to make the "beer tap" be a chem and food crafting station to a Chef can use actually make use of it?

Footprint for the cantina is 7x7 (thats 56x56m), Lot requirement is 7 (yes this canbe usedas your private home), Not certain about the maint but I seem to recall its 2800/day.

Would the cantina count against a player's lot allotment? or would it be like the city hall and not count against anyone's lots?

I am almost certain that it counts against your alotment.

That is a very good question and a very good point. I am brought that up with the developers today. Thanks for reminding me about that.

Good lord, how are chef's suppose to harvest materials if they have to give up 7 lots for a cantina.

Looks like They will be opened up mostly by musicians who dont have another crafting profession.

7 lots is stupid

it should be either part of the master chef or master merchant skills
and it should only cost 1 lot

Besides the need to harvest resources chefs have to run factories! So let me see ... 1 cantina, 2 harvesters and 1 factory LOL....

Seriously you can't be real? There are Medium to Large size houses that I have seen amazingly furnished to LOOK like cantinas .. why IN HELL WOULD I GIVE UP 7 SLOTS for a "CANTINA"?

I can see it costing some part of your lots, but 70% does seem high. Looks great though, i'll try to get over and see it first hand.

You could always just use factories/harvestors on others' lots. This is basically the same as them being able to place a cantina, but better. You can divide up the "load" between several players. (ie, use 2 lots from one guy, 4 from another, 1 from another)

ugh yeah, if it took two lots I could easily swing it, but I cant afford to lose 7 lots....
