Thread: Mind Stims
if you are a rilfeman and have problems with mind ... ffs buy some muon gold, i can spam headshot 2 for about 50ish (big guess) shots with one thats way better than my normal 15 shots and /sit for 5mins. i really don't want to see mind stims in the game and if they are, why make a class (dance/music) targeted at healing this area and just give it to another class, cm are awsome with the AOE heals and doc's are awsome at keeping the tanks alive.
When Chef foods worked, I had no mind issues...
So they broke the class that buffed mind stats, and are going to give doc level buffs to another class?
If this goes in, at least I can drop master chef and get something useful....
Like combat medic.....![]()

I'm currently using Correllian deep-fried ice cream to add 491 to my focus (along with musician buffs on top of that when they're available), I haven't had a problem with the chef buffs yet. I don't really see the point in adding it to doctors as well....it seems like different professions used to have their own specialties, and now they're just taking whatever's popular and giving it to any popular profession so there's no need for the others.
Besides that, there are stim-A's that are lootable off of relatively low-level faction officers that heal all three primary bars - yes, including mind. Why not just collect those if you don't have any chef buffs handy, and pull them out when you have need. I've got one in my backpack right now that I haven't needed yet, but I use them on my faction pets when their mind pool is getting dangerously low. It keeps them in the action that much longer, and keeps my downtime between battles as low as possible.
So there's already 2 options available in game to deal with mind in combat, and doctors/medics are already in demand, so why this new addition? It just seems pointless to me.

What about Chefs being able to create Mind stims that resemble pills or something. They would work like an Action/Health stim but maybe cost health points. Maybe it would help the Chef class.
That sounds more like an option available for Doctor. I don't usually receive medicine when I go out to eat.
It can be clearly stated that our class is broken, but I believe if we are to be fixed then the "fixes" should at least fit what our class is all about, creating & serving food.
I'm no Chef, so correct me if I'm wrong.
But it seems you have something similar to this in Angerian Fishak surprise. It just doesn't seem to be consistent in this regard.
Heaven know it's about the only thing I buy from chefs that can do me any good (I am praying for them to fix you guys so I can begin to make use of your other products). But at one point I was noticing that if I had depleted some of my mind and I drank one of those, if would not only increase my mind bar, but refill it for that same amount. But I seem to have trouble duplicating that lately, the only time now that I will get an increase with it actually filled in with (blue) seems to be when I have close to a full bar already, but if it's a low mind bar, I just get and increased max, but not a refill in mind per 'se.
If they were to tweak this item to where it did work a little more like that (a stim for the mind) I'm sure sales for that item would go through the roof. But of course if I remember correctly you can only drink one or two in a certain time period so you would have to be smart about how you used it in that regard.
