It takes experimenting the filling up to the high 50s,it dropsabout 1 filling per great success. That's why the duration and buff are lower, but I thought I'd see how it sells.

And SciGuy, when I first make my canape, I have a 39 filling. How much experimenting to get it to 33?

Isn't it wonderful how they added the % of filling to new foods, yet gave us no way to gauge where our stomach is currently at? (and don't tell me those bars are even anywhere near accurate
)
They tell us what % of stomach the food will use up, so why not make the bars a % of how much stomach is used up.
It would be easier to tell if I should take a 26% filling food and a 19% filling food, or one that is 39%, if the stomach bar said "You are at 60% capacity". But we're still left trying to guess where we are at with an inaccurate stomach meter.

It's even more wonderfull how they absolutely LIED to us about changing the digestion times, and fixing the barrels.

It kinda makes you giggle.
SOE Says "Stomach decay time is 60 minutes"
People complain wildly
Someone tests it, it's 45 minutes.
People say "Better, but it should be 30 min"
SOE Says "Stomach decay time is 30 minutes"
People stop complaining and don't bother to test. (I tested it once, but didn't believe the results, so I kept quiet)

My testing clearly showed a 45-minute stomach-emptying cycle with pre-patch Glucose Paste ... I could eat 2 and be 100% full, and I could eat a third after a little more than 20 minutes, or 2 new ones after 45 ... of course, the pre-patch buff only lasts about 7 minutes so this food is dramatically reduced in value, but if it is working on the same stomach timer as post-patch foods, the timer is very definitely 45 minutes.
If anybody at SOE said it was going to be 30 ... they were wrong. Yes, look at the surprise and shock written all over my face. Left hand, meet right hand ....

I can confirm I had the exact same problem last night with both Brandy and Canape. Unfortunately I didn't take note of figures and exact timings (& I'm at work right now), but I definitely couldn't eat or drink the "right" percentages of fillings according to the 30 minute digestion system.

Got back from class and tested it. My brandy is exactly 50 filling and with 36 1/2 time so I should easily be able to double up after 30 mins. So I took two quickly. Waited 15 mins and could not take a third. I waited half an hour to see if my stomache would completely empty and I could only take one (took me to about 75%). So the digestion is wrong.
I cannot be the only one who is getting this. Can someone else test?
I have practically the same results. Digestion is not working as they had said of 30 minutes. Sounds more like 40to 45 minutes.

I agree it appears to be 45mins+
However, I was able to take 2 vasarians od 44 filling, and a 3rd 12mins later, however, the buff was a 33mins one, and the buff timer said 35mins so one or the other is telling lies

If there was only one issue that we could get fixed, this one absolutely, positively has to be there in the mourning. The Fedex Debug
I'll give the devs the benifit of the doubt and assume they just screwed this up somehow. But this must be fixed and soon. Sir Vimes, please bring to thier attention as first priority above anything else. All the changes are livable if not good with the 30 min timer. 45 is another matter completely.

Also, I believe this warrents some type of explaination and response from the Devs. For god sakes, speak to us. Tell us what is going on and why. Even if the answer is no we won't change it. Tell us that. Don't lie to us and hide behind Sir Vimes trying to make him look foolish. He is not. You are.

I can confirm this.
My brandy has a filling of 49 and a duration of 35 minutes, I can take 2 just fine.
When they both wear out, the stomach bar looks empty, but I can only drink 1.
I could drink the second one about 25 minutes later.
Seems like it's definately 45 minutes or longer, pretty certain it's 1 hour.
