Thread: Chef Buffs: A Total Plan
If you're being hit for that much in PvP, you need to invest in armor, not food! ![]()
I have a helmet that has stopped just over 1000 damage from a 1700 damage T21 headshot.
Also, the PvP I do is with my guild. Whatkills me is slowly running out of HAM, not actually being shot. I just stay in the back and shoot other people. Being able to regenerate my pools faster would keep me in good health for when someone finally does turn on me.
Also, for the 99.9% of the time I spend doing PvE rather than PvP, regeneration is needed. The things I fight do not use Stopping Shot on me. Apparently nobody every taught Tusken Raiders how to do that.
You're right that anyone planning to tank hits needs HAM and a doctor backing them up. Doctors already handle all that, which is why having chefs be the masters of secondary stats makes more sense. If you want to buff HAM, why would you be a chef when you already know doctors can currently do that?
Yeah, even if people don't like my plan, they should at least come up with their own total plan.
Telling the devs to "fix the buffs" probably isn't going to be specific enough. They'll likely just leave it as a scattered, meaningless mess. On the rifleman tree, I know what I'm getting when I go up my Sniping Accuracy tree and it's vastly different than the Counter-Sniping tree. With Chef, there's no pattern to what you're getting.
And there should be.
So for the people who don't like this plan:
Make your own plan and submit it. Chefs don't need a light tweaking, they need serious thought and work.
