IMO the best way to take advantage of the 30min timer is to ignore duration on brandy and reduce the filling to allow for 2 hits of brandyplus ith mist or deutyrium pyro. Especially in pvp, every little bit of defense has the potential to help.






Hmm.... I see what you mean, althoughI went another route. I found the best combination tends to be LONG duration brandy with Ithorian mist.


What I mean is that my long duration brandy is +409 / 51m / 49Fill / 21 use. You can pop two of those, and you will be good for almost an hour. In the meantime, you can take an Ithorian Mist less than 5 minutes after popping the two brandies. And after THAT....you can pop yet another Ithorian mist....and still have enough room to double tap two more brandies long before you need to. In fact you could almost perpetually stack three brandies and Ithorian Mist. The great thing about the new stomach is that long duration foods are amazingly popular now. You can stack multiple foods very easily since they digest so quickly. You can have perpetual buffing Canape over 700 power as well....since you can get the duration on Canape to 10m without too much trouble. 33 Fill / 10m duration Canape is constant buff.


I have become a HUGE fan of duration and low filling foods. I agree with you there entirely. So many new options for food combos now. You found one, I use another, but both work very well.

+781 Focus & Willpower/ 10 minutes/ 39 fill/ 6 use - Each pt of fill is 18secs so fill duration is 11min 42 secs so your fill outlasts effect
This is not to say it isn't practical - combatants at mo are overpowered so still a bit lazy regarding optimising food. Im at work at mo but on weekend Ill look at possible combos for defence and consider macro times. Aircake looks like great value for fill - I presume it maxes at 40% - can anyone confirm? - It may be that aircake + exoprotein wafers underpin food fill to best effect, with room to spare for specific state defence foods. General running around macroing travel biscuits, switching to protein wafers at sign of trouble and aircaking way into battlefield.
