Did you read the responses to the combat ones? Expect no love whatsoever. Apparently Rocket Launchers are meant to be used at point blank range, as well as lightning guns.

Honestly, the responses look like they took the designers about 30 seconds of "As designed, we'll look into it, and Fixed Already" canned responses. I don't see any semblance of concern orunderstanding of the game in the responses at all. Pretty typical.

All I can say is...

Judging from the responses to the combat professions & those people's subsequent furor... it's time to stock up on Wastril Bread. We're gonna need ammunition for the truly l33t - Commando Chefs - Rawr! (You tried throwing that stuff lately? It's hard. Oh wait maybe that's just mine... )

Hey at least we'll get eggs! *brightens up* we can throw those!

I suspect we're gonna get a response on the buff power that the buff strengths are as intended, or will be tweaked a little.

My reasoning: Looking through some other reports, it seems obvious the devs are NOT aware of high-end weapons sucking compared to some low-end ones(Scout blaster still has the best DPS of all weapons, though it's a first-tier weapon ).

This in turn means, that they're not aware of the multiple identical power-handler bug(multiple identical components bug), where the quality of each component doesn't matter(and its shown that the bonuses awarded by the component are not given AT ALL. This can makea huge difference).

This bug affects nearly all of our 3rd, 4th, and master tier foods(as well as a couple of 2nd tier ones), and since the devs aren't awareof there being a problem, they'll think that we're just being whiney and have good enough buffs. It seems from my experience that they haven't actually play-tested a lot of stuff.

Maybe they're using this extra time to write a very detailed very long response to every problem we have ever reported...... or maybe (and more likely) they're playing everyone's favorite game, Drunk Ping-Pong. If so, I would like to challenge the develops to a round of drunk ping-pong. If I win you fix us first and quick, if I lose then you can put us back on the bottom of the heap. (Don't worry guys I'm really good.)

First of all, Potillan, I am beginning to like you. When the revolution comes you are still going to be the first against the wall, but it won't be personal.

Unfortunately, what I am worried about is this exec deciding that whatever is on that list is too much to commit to, and just replacing it with an "no eta yet."

I'm beginning to think you're right on that. No mention of the multiple component bug anywhere. It really would behoove a company that makes games to you know, play the game.

"multiple identical power-handler bug(multiple identical components bug)"

Sorry if I'm slow I've never heard this given any kind of a name before - but do you mean basically that when I go to make something the component quality does not end up effecting the outcome of the quality of the end item?

J2xC (or whatever his name is!) discovered that recipes that use multiple identical factory crate items (like Accarragm, or Vegeparsine) suffer from a bug that plagues other professions as well. These items do NOT use any attributes from the components in their creation, when they should be additive or multiplicative in some fashion... So 3rd, 4th and Master tier items are very nerfed.

Holy crap that's a good point about the factory components not giving the created attributes. I had noticed it and hoped it was just bad luck or a bad batch. That is messed up and does cripple many of our high-tier foods. It's bad enough not seeing our class get patched today, but watching even more bugs surface in our pain-laden profession is enough to make me cry.
