Ok - Foods & Drinks on my vendor show their information in the information screen per usual. Foods & Drinks on the Bazaar that I put there, also show their information normally. However, taking the item OFF the vendor and then examining said item - the information doesn't show =/ No buffs are listed etc. However, the buffs still *work* at least on the items I tested (Charde, Wastril bread).

Thank you Mousekin, that was pretty much what I was trying to say. I was being a little glib when I said post often...what I meant was that if more than one person posts this problem in that thread, it is more likely to be recognized. I don't want people to keep posting on it and creating spam...but I do think if you want this problem fixed you should post in that thread and let the developers know.

Remind me to put sciguy on my list of enemies for pointing out my own foolishness.

So since I'm already going to be put up against the wall once the revolution comes I just can't help myself...

You are right, I meant buff.

[five-year-old-voice]He did it agaaaaain, he did it agaaaaain!

Ok, Ishould stop. I mean, if Vimes gets burned out, we might end up with a boring, stuffy correspondent like some of the other professions are stuck with. Here, have a Sunburn. Go ahead, it's on me. No, don't worry about work, the weekend's coming up, you can take a quick break...

And to Dahn: Hah! I don't *have* a house! (which, based on reports of some serious nerfs to their storage capacity is probably a good thing...)

Um, wait, now *I'm* going to get egged, aren't I?

Yeah, that's it Sir Vimes... spam the threads, that always works.

Maybe all the correspondents can advise their profession groups to spam the threads often ... then we can have a spam fest.

I am not saying spam the threads. I am saying that the devs put up a thread that asks for problems with this patch. This is a problem with the patch so post it there. Posting it here will do no good. And if only one person posts then, then the devs will assume it is only affecting that one person.

huh? why the hell would they take away the stats that these foods buff? That is insane! Thats how we know what foods work well with specific ingredients. That is how players buy certain foods!

You know I thought the over all design of this game was different. The waypoint system alone made me think that this group of dev's understood what so many dont. Players like having in game systems to make the game more fun to play. I mean did any of you like spamming your macro for loc over and over while trying to find a destination.

The same goes with foods telling us what stats they buff. This is exactly what the EQ team did. They took things away that made the game fun to play. They introduced solutions to problemsthat had no elegance.

I cancelled my account and i was planning on returning once beta 4 is over but not if they keep doing stuff like this.

Voovie,

I would relax. yeah, it's annoying but I am sure it is a buff, and not a nerf. Hopefully, the devs will have it fixed soon.

Besides, it only effects foods created before the patch. Food created after the patch works just fine.

That's not what he said. You both have good points. Spamming is a bad thing. Posting and saying one's opinion ina calm manner is not. Obviously there are ways in which one can do the latter and "spam" however that's not what I believehe intended - it certainly isn't a good idea, anyway. That doesn't mean that there's not a very good reason to post - even more than once (not necessarily the same thing as spam, particularly when there is substance behind the argument). The squeaky wheel gets the grease comes to mind. We can sit here and calmly chat and ignore problems in our profession. Or we can attempt to bring it to the Devs' attention. If more than one person posts it also helps because then the Devs will know it's not simply one person complaining and yes numbers do matter.

At any rate, the thread in question is pertinent. I would suggest you try reading it. Ifanyone wants to help then post in that thread as to how the patch has affected your Profession (ie - bugs and whatnot).Just be sure to do so in a reasonable tone of voice - reason always carries more weight in an argument.
