I was just talking about the 10 creds a pop. Who would want to buy from us if all the other HoloChefs are selling they're junk at 10 creds.

No Dimok, it wasnt aimed directly at you...youve at least come to the chef forum. It was aimed more at the holochefs that have actually said that to me..while at the same time asking me to give them every ounce of info I know about chefs all the way down to where I am currently harvesting resources. I dont fault any of the holochefs tho I dont care for the attitude. I fault sony for the bogus idea that in order to be born with the force you have to have mastered 34433 careers in a past lifetime. Forcing people to grind through careers they care nothing about can do nothing but bad for those professions as far as I can see. Other than maybe their bugs will be more widely known and maybe fixed faster.

Thank you, Nikkii, for the respectful reply. As I said before, you have every right to be upset, but please don't shoot me for it! =P I thank everyone that replied for the information. It will be put to good use.

As for the method for attaining Jedi, that's a whole different discussion. I'm not a fan of it either, but I'm going to do what it takes.

I just wanted to thank all of the Chefs here who helped me out. I'm now a 3-3-4-4 Chef and will likely be master within the next 2 days or so. I can't believe how much wheat was needed, oye. A special thanks to Cookie the Wookiee for helping me with tips.

Hello all.

My name is Azarok and i'm a holo chef. I have actually come to appreciate this profession quite a bit. I will most likely come back to it once i finish my journey towards Jedi.

I had a question about prices. I am able to craft tat sunburn and was hoping to use this drink as a means of providing the credits for more wheat, corn, water, berries... I have my sunburn priced at 2000 credits per drink. Does this sound way off, or am i in line with the market.

Azarok, I really doubt that I could sell a single thing if I were to sell sunburns at 2k per charge, way too expensive in my opinion. But then again, I hardly sell anything even at 250 per charge. /sigh I probably need to advertise more.

On Bria, I price Sunburns at 200cr/use and it seems to be fair. Think of what people are used to for spices. 200 credits is a fair price to most people and I am constantly selling single stacks for 200/use even though I sell crates for a little less than that. It keeps the crates and single stacks selling. When I have a failure I still sell at 200 cr or less even. It lets the lesser developed characters with little money taste the benfits of food and increase the market for all chefs on the server. Likewise I try to price other things fairly based on how much someone might pay for a crate of the stuff and then sell the single stacks for slightly more. I know it actually costs more to make a crate, but if they buy a crate then it's an instant infusion of money. If they buy a stack, then it's a little slower. Buying in bulk should almost always be cheaper...but never so cheap that someone will buy your crate and sell the stacks for too much of a profit unless you have a deal with a reseller.

Most holo-chefs, myself included, don't sell any of their products. The grind it out with macros in practice mode so they dont have to keep cleaning up their inventory.
