Thread: BoH. Does this drink have Market?
Wow you guys charge a lot. I charge 52k per crate of BH, +470, 530s, 13 per stack. Yes, it's low, and I don't make much, but people who buy BoH usually ask what else I have and then I sell them the high profit sunburns or thakitillo too.
And yes, I can't keep them in stock, so is a price increase necessary? Maybe, but Saitek (on my server) has been known to charge 40k for a crate, so yeah...
The general rule of any sales is to charge what your market will bear. With competition (I can't believe there is anyyet), then competitive pricing is needed.I usually charge 60-75k a crate on my vendor...catch me in person Igladly work deals... ![]()
Just the other day I sold 2 crates (20 and 25) for 90k...pretty cheap for BoH (+400, 15 uses)...the customer said he liked the stuff and expressed a genuine interest in receiving the waypoint to my vendor...maybe he'll visit my shop and buy other stuff...or maybe tell his friends whom he was in a rush to meet when we had our transaction...doesn't really matter though...chef is about feeding my PA and making a little pocket change...
As far as I am concerned there will always be a market for our products (unless SOE really goes insane on us)...my sales have been more about personality than product...problem is I think I ran out... ![]()
Out of curiosity, do most/all of you use Aludium pu36 for your BoHs? Or even all your drinks, for that matter? So far I haven't used Aludium much, except in Fishak. It almost doesn't seem worth it to have to use 6 Aludiums and then charge 70k+ for a crate. With just regular alcohol, I can get a BoH around 19 charges and 400 buff/400 seconds.
Is the huge addition of required resources for 6 Aludiums per BoH worth it?
I'm no chef, but on Flurry, my regular supplier of Breath of Heaven charges;
70,000cr
520 / 522sec 20use/stack
That's 500uses a crate for 140cr per use. From a discerning customer's viewpoint, i always tally up the charges and see how much is costs to drink it, and if thebuff/duration justifies the cost i will fork it out.
I had paid 260cr per use for 10/stack 580/595sec BoH before, and with reference to the original poster,... 300cr a drink is pretty expensive if the BoH isn't close to 600's in the buff/dura department.
RUMOR:
Breath of Heaven used in conjunction with Ryshcate yields ZERO HAM COSTS for special moves.
Players have told me this, and I cannot keep these two items in stock. I sell full crates BOH, 9 uses per, for 100k, Full crates Ryshcate, 9 uses per, 40K

I wish you were on my server...I have been searching high and low for crates of breath of heaven and the other food (can't remember the name right now) that boost these particular secondary stats.

Wow, thats a **edit** good drink, you might want to buy it allup before your chef runs out of what ever uber resouces hes using
Gosh I buy full crate of BoH at 20k each on my server...
Granted it's stacks of 10 buffing for around 400 pts but still....
