Your cost for milk should be zero. You can go collect it yourself.

You need to be a Novice Scout with atleast "Masked Scent" skill to effectively collect milk. The time consuming effort of collecting milk is somewhere between collecting eggs and harvesting meat/bone/hide since you have to get so close to the creature and STAY CLOSE for about 10-15(?) seconds. I'm not sure how many Master Chefs have the time to do this. Thanks for the speeder tip though stabboy; I'll be sure to try that.

Something called Guildies. People who will help you out. I got my guild together and got tons of milk. So, use your friends, is what I say.

Or, if you hate guilds and would rather just do it yourself, spend a little time doing missions, milk the creatures before you kill them, owe no one, and feel like you've accomplished something on your own for a change.

Im still seeing people trying to charge 100-1000cpu, they must think we're stupid.

The most I'd pay now is 10cpu. 1 picket mission gives you 400+ units of wild milk, plus 10k cash for the mission, charging over 10cpu is daylight robbery

The changes just went in, there is no going rate yet.

It'll probably settle somewhere near 4 cpu on Tempest, as no killing is required, but you can't mine it either. A big factor is that even pretty new Scouts can do it, and make cash while admiring the scenery.

To Hell with buying milk.

I was able to buy 600 units of milk off the server on "day 1" for 2000 credits.

But since then I haven't seen any milk on the vendors and I have to keep hinting to my friends to pick some up on their way back from the grocery store.

Also, like many chefs, I do not have combat/scout skills so I will be relying on others for my milk supply.

Still, there's plenty of good "non-milk" items to make, right?

And for all you city slicker scouts out there, some of those critters are bulls... they don't give milk.

HHAHAHAHA

Yea, and if they do...you put that in someone's drink and they will probably hurl a thermal detonator at you.
