I just keep forgetting to turn them on after putting in the ingredients. Do that more with harvesters, though.

Whoo first stickied post ever, at least this will remind future chefs to double check everything in the factories and to turn it on. And dont forget serial numbers, they are your friends.

The easiest thing to do is rename your components. For example I use this system:

Dough - A

Dough - B

Carbosyrup - A

That right there is good for 2 rusn of canape. I know each one takes teh same fruit, berries, and carbosyrup, but different doughs. Its a huge headache saver.

Also remember any container can be used. Small glasses with different serial numbers can be mixed and matched. Same goes with casks, large glasses, and I am assuming barrels (have not tested this).

yeah, even ifI do see the 'station activated' sign, I still tend to check. I hate that harvs no longer animate like they used to. Used to be, if it moved, you knew it worked. Now, you actually have to check.

I like using the date manufactured in subs. ie alcohol 2.19.04 and if I make 2 in one day then I throw a "B" at the end of it.

I think I have accidentally put in the wrong ingredents 4 times this week because I set my backpack to the other view and seem to grab the ingredient below the one I just split.

The Emperor must be behind this.

Yes yes, ridicule my competition !!! he he just joking Neni ( damn skill tapes )

I'm paranoid about my factories too. I always check them like twice after I've started them. And I agree with his tip about renaming components. I usually create my components with a certain product in mind so I label them like that such as: Brandy Alcohol or Brandy Glasses. Makes digging through the inventory to load the factories much much easier.

I actually did have a problem with factories about a week ago. A schematic of small glasses just stopped at 250. Ingredients where there, hopper was 70% full. I removed some crates and the factory started working again. Same thing happened to me 2-3 other times. I now don't allow more than 60 crates in a factory. Would also be nice if emails were sent to everyone on admin list and not just the owner.

I have a clean factory record.

It's the dang harvesters for me. You haven't lived life until you go to get your 50K units of flora, 100K of power, and 40K of water and discover your didn't turn them on.

One of my factories stops producing when the output hopper hits 50%. Happens every single time. I get an email saying something about manufatureerror_7 or something like that. Been that way for months but I have never figured out why. I even redeeded it twice but it didn't help.
