Now this isn't technically a chef bug it does affect us.

Fishing seems to be broken.

Now I have heard people saying this for a while but I haven't been fishing in a while. It might just be TC being buggy, it wouldn't let me enter Keren and the lagg was horrible so I will try later and keep you updated.

I really hope they fix the crate bug. I mastered chef as a holo skill. When I finished my next holo said Merchant. Figured to be a merchant I needed something to sell. So I started making crates and crates of Fishak. I have over 100 crates of Fishak saved up and my factory is still running non-stop. I've been busting my arse trying to make this stuff ... good stuff at that 580 mind 8 action 178 duration.

I do want to say I never would have mastered chef without the holocron. I love it, and plan on re-adding it IF I ever open my force slot.

One thing that would be nice to have 'fixed' in this big revamp is components not showing any sort of stat value. By this I mean that if you experiment one component to 88% quantity and another to 88% nutritional value, the only way you can tell them apart is if you remembered to label them when in the final craft screen. Medical components have a visual guage in the actual stats on the item (ie. # of charges, power etc), something similar for the Chef components would be handy. Also, could they fix foods not showing any quantity value in the experimentation screen? Right now some do, others only say '1' so experimenting on quantity is a bit like a crap shoot.

I'm sure this is all old news anyway, but it would be fantastic to get some basic bug fixes in with this big revamp.

Ezran regarding removing ressources from shematics into a backpack:
Go back to your main invetory and remove the resources there. Had this before the patch happen already.

It'sa tailor item.

Oh fantastic. My DE skill tree doesn't have enough dependencies already... now my Chef tree can have dependencies too!!

Note to the devs: Please stop making these dependencies. It's annoying.

Yeah, I got that to work. Apparently not a new bug then.

Caf cannot be experimented for "Flavor". This is listed under "Misc" in the schematic, but is not available during experimentation.

When I try to remove an ingredient for a schematic slot with a backpack open, I get an error message (I forgot to write down what it said). And the ingredient will not be removed.

I checked the cpapcity of the pack, and I still had 3 slots left.

Pets do not have a stomach like humans, you can only give them 1 buff/hour.
That buff wears off when you store the pet. (I think that's intended

Yes. I tried fishing last night to see if the numbers changed and it never did anything. I could cast my line, but that was it. I have fished on TC before, so now I consider it broke.

With the crate issue, has anyone made stuff in factories yet? This is so reminiscent of the first factory bug its scarey.

XP Grinding for Novice Chef is all but totally destroyed.

I figured i'd pitch in and make a Chef on TC and did the work to get him up to Novice right before these changes went up on test. So, I planned after that to login and grind XP to see what the new progression was like through the class.

Here is a listing for XP values given for Novice Chef crafted items:

Air Cake:

1 Carbosyrup (6 organic)

1 Dough (10 Wheat)

20 Flowers

36 Resources Total: !!!!!!! 0 !!!!!!! feekin XP.

Alchohol:

10 Cereal

10 Resources total: 20 XP (21 in practice)

Almond-Kwevvu Crisp Munchies:

4Cereal

2Meat

4 Fruit

10Resources Total: 20 XP (21 in practice)

Blap Biscuit:

2 Carbosyrup (12 Organic)

1 Dough (10 Wheat)

10 Berries

32 Resources Total: 20 XP (21 in practice)

Medium Food Additive:

*wasn't working with a BE on test, didn't make*

Soypro:

10 Cereal

10 Vegetable

20 Resources Total: 20 XP (21 in practice)

So, in other words, to get your 32,000 xp or whatever you need for the first box, you need to build a robot to sit there and do all of the clicking for you since you'll be in the hospital after trying to get one box in the profession.

I thought one of our MAIN requests was that there was a PROGRESSION through the boxes, not in just the schematics (which i'm very unhappy with, but will post elsewhere if I can keep my text clean), but the XP rewards for those schematics as well.

I suppose you could grind Air Cake to get Mixology II now. /dies laughing

I'm reposting this on the Test Center as it's own thread.

I checked my stomach bar at a random time and both food and drink were full without reason. I think it had a little food in it, but it should have only been 11% full or so. When I ate more food, it didn't give me an error or anything, but it didn't update or anything either. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying much attention at the time, so I wouldn't know how to recreate the bug, but it's definately something to watch out for.
