if you go to bestine or AH you will most likely find a doctor buffing for free or really cheap in the cantina or med center

Also, those are not master-level buffs. Docs will do that to get experience, and their buffs are way below what they could be, and last maybe 1/2 hour. Sure it's nice, but I'm pretty sure you'll find the going rate for a really nice buff is maybe around 5-6k if they're willing to buff you at all. Buffs require avian and herbavore meat, and those have gotten to be really really expensive so we're guarding it closely.

Now, since the stack bug, I have not sold a thing either on the bazaar or personally. I'm quickly running out of cash for my 1 large, 6 medium harvesters, factory and house (yea, what do I need all that for if I'm not selling anything, I can't sell anything if I don't HAVE anything). I had orders that noone wants anymore, my sunburns are as good as pet food once bugged (how do you drop stuff in the field?!?!?) I'm hoofin it out on Dath for cash now with bare combat skills...thank you guild for letting me come along!

If you won't be needing that heavy anymore, maybe I can buy it from you cheap?

Agreed. I've raised the price on my non-guild buffs. Herb meat and avian meat are too expensive to give many cheapies away.

the cheapies are beter then chef buffs anyways just the junk doctor buffs last 3 times longer then the master chef buffs..

You can go get buffed for free by a doctor for 600 to everything for 45 mins besides mind of course.

thats beter then anything a chef can make

anyways anyone selling per charge is really ripping people off on quality. My Sunburns are always +1800 for 400 seconds in stacks of 6-8 depending on my gas that im using and 15k is making me a ton of money.

15k is only too cheap if you a master entertainer dancer and chef , and even then once you finally can aford heavy harvesters your making a huge prophit I dont know about other chefs but I have over 900k and can if I want go make 100k in a about an hour soloing missions on endor with my flamethrower.

Hell I can Solo Krayt Dragons in 2 shots and farm those beloved tissues , if I wanted to but I like making food so thats what I do unless people need me to come kill a few AT ST for them.

as for meat being rare , thats not true unless your guild has no scouts now my guild brings in more meat then before because they all can harvest .. so maybe you need to get a guild that has scouts that like to group and take down big game ?

Well a lot of herbivore meat is going to doctors in 20cpu amounts (helps in advanced Stim Bs). Most scouts out there now are focusing directly on that and needs to be in quality and quantity. Only rarely do the shifts allow the big game to give quality meat.

As for my own guild's scouts not bringing me enough meat, they try to do their share, but it's hard to balance grinding credits, grinding fps, hunting meat, having a real life outside of swg, etc, soI tend to buy most of my meat at the moment.

Right now I am using all the meat for stim packs. My chef character will have to wait.

It's not about affording the harvestors, it's about selling things for what they're worth and not screwing your future market. I could easily stock all my regulars with 500 sunburns apiece for free and still be just fine, but they wouldn't come back to me or any other cheffor more for a month. Frankly, I wish sunburns and any other good chef food were a lot harder and more expensive to make.. I don't like that it is possible to hand them out in such volumes so easily.

Meat is rare because they halved the amount you harvested or worse in the last patch. And everybody wants avian/herbavore. Also we're talking good quality meat, which you have to go out of your way to get. I go through 1600 herbavore meat in a factory run of 100 stims, so one or two friends helping is not nearly enough.

What was that about once you have large harvesters, you can afford to charge less? Hah. Coming from someone who IS a Master Musician and almost master chef...You still have to pay the upkeep and power on these suckers, which eat Power and maintenance like a starved warthog on pot. Not to mention the Upkeep and power on harvesters. Lets break down that 1 crate of sunburns for 15k into how muchIcan pay for with it, and you will see why I charge more.

Lets see, I sell one crate of 25 sunburns for 15k, customer will not be back for 1 month at least

Daily totals

3k to large harvester 1
3k to Large Harvester 2
2k to medium Gas
2k to medium flora
2k to medium Flora
2k to factory
2k to factory wait... 1k, as I only made 15k.

oops, ran out of money. uh oh. and I still have power generators to pay for,a few small harvesters, a steel harvester, house, travel fees, hides and meat,on and onto pay forbut then again, I dont have a guild giving me resources, either.

Undercutting the market hurts everyone. It might get you a quick sale, but after then you are SOL(unless you have guild backing)

Most of the people undercutting are what I lovingly call "guild babies"... They're wittle chefs that rely on their guilds to back them up financially and with bulk resources.

You fools need to stop charging per use and charge per resource like every other crafter in this game does. I charge 100 a use for my sunburns. Why? Because they're stacks of 9. How much do they cost me to make?About 350 credits. Thats over a 200% markup for 100 a charge. Stop being greedy. If you can't make 9 use sunburns, I'll gladly put you out of business.

That is so not true. Go look at stim B prices, or weapons, or armor.. the only professions that routinelycharge per resource are those where experimenting/ingredient qualitydoesn't do a thing - like architects and tailors.

I maintain, if you make the effort to master a class, get the best resources, and experiment for the best results, you should be rewarded for your effort. Sunburn is a bit ridiculous asthere's no reason and little ability toexperiment on buff size/duration, so you end up with large stacks without really all that much effort. But in general, a bigger stack of better food should cost more than a smaller stack or the same stack of food with lower buffs.

Compared to my other foods (like Ormachek at ~150 a charge) Sunburn at 250 a charge is a bargain (or you might say that the other foods are overpriced considering how gimpy they are). I offer it so cheaply because it's so cheap andeasy to make a stack of 9 compared to other foods(as the ****edit**** chef tree is so unbalanced), but I still price more for a bigger stack. If the whole chef tree got balanced and foods got much much better with the same recipes, I wouldn't charge much more overall, but I'd still charge more for better quality stuff.

While I'm griping about the undercutting, I realize there is nothing I can do about it, such is life. But the fact that chef line is mostly useless and the fact that food is bugged right now, items over which I have no control, really burn me up.

I've had minor sales over the last week or so, like someone trying out ormachek or blaster, but no repeat sales or inquiries or anything. I've had multiple people complain about the stack bug and why should they buy anything until it's resolved. I take the bug as the major reason for no sales. If peeps are buying stuff from you guys, more power to you, I can't force people to take my stuff for free . I've even been asked to refund money because the food doesn't work.

Sigh, back to grinding Mists and selling ore.

1 crate of sunburns is going to last someone 2 days maybe 3 at the most .. I dont know where you got 25 sunburns lasts over a month..

Im guesing a master dancer master chef doesnt PvP .. PvP is all about buffs and TEF you die clone drink a buff get rightt back into the battle.. on a busy PvP day y ou could probibly burn thru a entire crate of suburns in a day.

and for harvesters I dont know about other people but I throw 15k in them at once or more so I dont need to worry about paying for them till I go check my resources..

If you were paying 3k a day for each of those harvesters and each was at 80% locations you would be pulling up 8650 resources every 24 hours.

You can then put for all 5 of those harvesters you listed 500 resources on the bazaar for 3000 credits each and bingo you payed for your harvesters. you can put 500 more resources on and for anouther 3000c you payed for your power plant.

If you really have that many heavy harvesters you should have no problem with income There is No Possible way for you to use all those resources with 1 or even 2 factories so you may as well sell some of the surpless .

Did you ever think to harvester the best metal or a Lok Wild Wheat? Those sell for 10 credits a resource to rich crafters..

Minners make more money then crafters if you know what your doing , I supose you just dont know the basics of making it as a minner
