Here's a positive thing -- almost every single daysomeonewill notice my Master Chef title with surprise and congratulate me on it. I've had ppl bowing and tipping their hat to me. You won't see that with any other profession!

And roleplaying folks don't care about the stats anyway, so there's still catering opportunities for weddings and other events.

I really enjoy the roleplaying aspect of being a chef.

Many of my regular customers have turned into game friends. I would probably have never met them otherwise.

Hmmm can't think of anything else atm....

The Character Metrics say that Novice Chefs rank at 0.3% that means that there are only 900 novice chefs in 300,000 players. Now those are only novice Chefs so there are alot less Master Chefs.

This means that there is next to no competition out there, not to say that is a green light to screw your customers but with no competition it is very easy for a Master Chef to find steady customers (although sometimes this means relying on the generosity of others.)

And for everyone who thought we were the only ones having problems read this and know that it is tough everywhere

I apologize for my outburst above. Stressful weeks combined with trying to enjoy a game that is buggy, and then reading replies that for brief seconds you see as complaining to the people that are trying to help us... just gets to me.

I know that you weren't complaining, but just wanting information. I think that's one thing we are all wanting at this moment. I just want a dev or someone to talk to us to let us know that, "Hey, we've found what is causing all of your problems, but we won't get around to fixing it until we have mounts and player cities firmly established." I could handle that. I'd cancel my account for a month, and then come back and play when things have smoothed over with that, but as it is, we are getting any info, and that is more frustrating to me than not getting a fix.

So, again, I apologize for my outburst above.

ok.. so im ne of the HOLO chefs... but guess what. the holo told me to master chef like 3 weeks ago..

im still not a master. why?

i grinded thru the first boxes in the first couple days and then i changed my title to "acomplished baker"....and started getting those "ohhhh" an "ahhhhhh" and "a baker!!! do you have a vendor??"....

i started having fun.. i stoped the grind.

i was an almost master doctor..... lemme tell you i droped ALL doctor skills and almost all medic stuff and i dont regret it. and ill 99% sure wont drop chef now!

people are nice to chefs, the titles look great, we STILL make great things.

i was one of the Holo ones... im hoping to become one of you.

I was selling a TON of stuff before the latest stat bug... I'd be making things nonstop and I run 3 factories.

I have 3 million credits from food... FOOD. You know, that stuff you guys claim never sells. I also don't sell at gauged prices either.

Since the last patch with the stat bug, I haven't sold a thing. That upsets me, but I don't have the heart to yell at Thunder... poor guy.

Indeed, we do seem to have a lot of respect amongst the other classes. I'm often complemented on my Iron Chef title.

Also, we do have a strong community. I've never passed or been passed by a chef that didn't talk to me. Ever see a Bounty Hunter say to another, "Hey, another Bounty Hunter"? I think not.

Lastly, once SOE finally gets around to the balance pass on food they mentioned months ago, think how much pre-nerf Tatooine Sunburns will be worth. I'm stockpiling them as we speak.

Well, the merchant fixes are going to make it worlds easier to sell our food. We wont have to reset our vendor advertisements every day or have to resell all our items after they've been on the vendor for a week. Tents should also make us way more visible if we place them right.

And um... I've been tipped simply for being a master chef before... Now if only that happened in real life. I'd go to chef school, retire and spend the rest of my life living the high life and hanging out in airports with a chef hat on.
