I feel that I'm doing good since the patch. I make about 400k a day and on a good day my best day was about 2.5m.

I charge 20 cpu for non BE foods.

I charge 40 cpu for BE foods (with exceptions)

I charge 1k per charge for the BE Brandy and Canape.

I have:

1 tent

4 factories

1 medium house

5vendors (pet food, skill/stats food, misc food, pre-patch food, and single stacks)

and various harvesters

Iwork with another Master Chef/Master BE.

I get about 10 crates of additives every 3-4 days free.

The other Chef offers food on my vendor and I buy it and sell it for the same price (no mark up).

I'd say 75% of my sales are non BE foods and 25% are BE foods.

My Pet Food vendor usually has 20 items.

My Skill/Stat vendor usually has 35-40 items.

My Misc Food vendor usually has 35-40 items.

My Single Stack vendor usually has 45-60 items.

My Pre-patch vendor has about 45 items and decreasing at about 1 item every 2 days.

It seems to work for me.

DoveAthodo, you're not the only odd one. As a Master Chef, I'm not making a HUGE profit, but most of my sales are not Brandy. I can't keep Ormachek or Starshine Surprise in stock. Accarragm sells really well. Kiwik Clusjo Swirl also does well. Not to mention the pet buffs. I have two vendors. One for food, and one for drink situated behind the bar in our city's tavern. I stock them with 1-5 of pretty much ANYTHING Ihave the resources tomake. The amount of traffic that goes through there nets me at least 20 sales a day and several bulk orders (which I struggle to keep up on!) Maybe it's just location.

I'm not a millionaire or anything but I'm not going broke at the moment. I am having fun.

...Also if you are just now starting to accumulate materials for chef and do not have a lot of money (ie plan to harvest your own) it will take quite a while to build up a fair stock of the plethora of materials needed. Everyone and their friend and their friend's dog are buying up all the good berry/fruit/fungus. Meat is always hard to find. Etc. Not mention everyone snagging BE business to the point of them being overwhelmed.

I figure you can make a living at it if you are smart but are not gonna be rolling in the creds anytime soon. As most have pointed out, sell resources. Best way to make a lot of money. Only way I know to make money faster is to be really, really good at PVE and harvest crystals/looted schematics/bone shards/krayt/etc. Those guys can make 3-10 mill a week. Of course there is a lot of competition for that loot and you have to camp etc.

I do it because I like crafting, like supplying friends with stuff and enjoy building a friendly client list. I would not be doing it for the money.

I sell almost nothing but Brandy. And now I can't sell anything but BE Brandy. I don't know if it's just Lowca, but it's either BE Brandy or you are useless.

Sadly my vendor is in a rather out of the place place, (on Rori, I know, I know) but nothing else even sells these days!

I'm lucky to make 100K in a week. Usually all by one sale of a crate or two of Brandy to one person.

I'm guessing Lowca just doesn't like Chef vendors.

And yes, I have seen a lot of the glass ceiling happening with BE foods. Any and almost all Brandy sales are BE only now, and with Casks used. After a few crates of that you're set for months, and you'll never go back to the regular stuff.

Just my opinion, but I think the Nutrition BE additivies could use a 50% cut on power. I have 2 BE suppliers, and frankly it's NOT hard to get crates of those additives made. Maybe cap it by requiring milk or something.

Id have to agree with everyone ... the profitability is now starting to wear thin. All the rich people already baught their brandy and are set for a long time. Im sure prices will go down slightly if not by allot now. Then the band-wagon chefs will leave because A) they already made the money or B) they are not selling as much and find chef boring to them and would rather move on. Its not the Flavor of the Month for nothing!

If you're after creds, you can't beat mining. Just get some high BER harvesters, look for a place with a whole bunch of other harvesters around it, and drop your own.

You can make millions that way, i've seen it done.

I still think my AS business makes more credit than mining ....

Mining is good but there's a limit on how much you can harvest a day and how many resources people will buy...

It's hard to make more than a couple millions a day mining and even for that you need a huge amount of lots...

Doctors will take as much Bivoli as you can dump on us.

Personally I use all sorts of stuff, but Docs are going wild over the stuff.

To be honest I probably make more money selling high quality minerals that shift in than I do with Chef. Chef however, if more fun that sitting beside a harvester for a week.

Chef is fun and profitable enough to get me by.

My only supplier is my business partner, who has to supply me and herself. I was thinking of running a special deal where the customer supplies the Additive and I take half off the price.

I also make good money by selling normal Brandy and Canape when I have no additives. They don't sell as fast as my BE stuff buti just had 6 crates sell over 3 days. Normally the BE stuff take 1 customer to wipe out the stock (I'm not joking).I don't want to run a BE only shop anyway. Besides I can run my business by logging in only 2 hours a day and skipping a day if I wish and things still go smoothe. Besides ever so often I need some time to go kill th ings with my other account.
