Thread: Is a 66 charge of (BE) Vas Brandy possible?
Just so you know, 200ish buff with 35-40m duration, 49ish filling, and 9 -10 charges is pretty standard for non-enhanced brandy and large glasses.

I made Brandy with 88 charges, and a respectable (200 ish) buff.
I think it's a very viable product.
I took a tour of a bunch of other Chefs, and to be honest this stuff killed their product. Alot of them had stuff with about the same buff and only around 10 charges (that must be some seriously poor resources).
I'm not a Chef anymore but do you realize that if you sell a crate of 25 with 50+ uses you'll never see that costumer again?
I've been hunting every day since the patch and I've used 10 brandy's with 21 uses. That's 75+ hours of being buffed. 225+ hours for a full crate if my math is right.
Now take a crate of 25 with 80 uses. 800 Hours?
You sell 1 crate and that person will never buy another crate probably.

My standard BE brandy in casks creates the same problem - 25 x 21 uses = 525 uses x 41 minutes = 21525 minutes = 358 hours. If a person uses singles, that's enough for more than 100 days at 3 hours a day of being buffed. Doubles will halve that. If the combat revamp/rebalance goes through and mind buffs aren't as necessary, then this brandy boom is a one time thing. Just as well.. I really dislike making the stuff.
Let me re-state my point since it seems to have been too hard to understand...
"Is 66 charge brandy possible?" - YES... and in my opinion it is a VERY saleable product
I think YOU completely failed to see MY point. Someone earlier said they didn't see there being a market for the huge usage brandy.. i simply stated that i DID.
Do you realy think the consumer cares a darn about wether you used a small glass, large glass or cask... nope.. they care about the buff size and number of uses... the more decerningalso care about duration and fill% (these are usualy the ones with money and experience enough to buy the realy high end stuff).
The brandy I was comparing to wasn't super cheap. And the price vs the product stats are what matter... not what was used to get to those stats. Getting 10 times the doses for a relatively small additional materials is VERY good business as far as i am concerned. I certainly dont need to charge anything like 10 times the price of the "non-BE" brandy in order to make good money.. so the consumer gets a vastly better deal.
High usage brandy IS saleable, and as I already said I have had it specifically requested. Thats good enough evidence for me ![]()
