I see plenty of Master Dancers in the busy cantinas, usually atleast 1 there.

Also did any of you guys read the notes on factory limits?

They are limiting them to a run of 100, that makes it insanely difficult to produce Breath of Heaven.

I was running schematics of 600 alcohol in order to make 100 BoH.

I'm not a Chef, but I've started following your woes recently, as my 2 professions, merchant and tailor, appear to have the same low priority that Chefs do. I noticed the patch notes didn't include you guys, so I thought I'd hop on the Chef forum and see how everyone was taking it. Hope you guys get some help in the near future, and hang in there!

the sole reason i chose chef as a profession was so i could buff mind. wihtout these buffs the chef is worthless. quitting SoE looks more and more appealing so if the factory schematics are limited to 100 and the enteratiner buff mind like doctors there will seriously be no point in playing.

Please keep in mind that this feature is only for Masters ! And Masters don't play or dance with Joe AFK Musician or Jane AFK Dancer at the cantina next door. Up to now, the Buff from entertainers was non-existant. Who stays 5 minutes for a 10 minute buff that won't even last to your mission target ? No one. I'm not sure if it's unbalanced now, time will tell.

While we wait, come over to the entertainer forum and help us nerf AFK musicians and dancers... less dancers, less bufs, right

yes and WE ARE MASTER CHEFS

and we didnt AFK to master

From the Dev Forum:

This is an upcoming change on TC. The change was made because this is what schematics were always supposed to be limited to--there is a bug that lets you put in a value larger than 100 right now.

I see some negative reaction to this change. How impactful is it? What is a reasonable limit in your mind?

I'll state up front that there may be DB reasons why we don't want a huge number here, so I will have to check on whether changing it is feasible at all.

We got the message. Investigating now.

This isn't a done deal.

It is funny reading all of these. I am a master chef also, although master only a week. You have all these people stating they will buy food, you can carry it, food is needed and valued etc. You would think with this much support and so few chefs that no one could keep anything in stock. The opposite is actually true. I can't sell hardly anything. I track every sale, yea I know get a life , but I have only two or 3 regulars and 2 of them are buying my PA reduced to cost items. Looking at this obviously something is wrong.

Honestly I would much rather use some good food and drinks to buff myself than use an entertainer buff or spice. Problem with food right now though, is that after I log out and come back the next morning, the food is unusable, I select "eat" or "drink" and it just doesn't work. I have to destroy it and buy/make a new batch for it to work. That's the only thing keeping me from using large amounts of food at the moment.

As soon as this is fixed I'll need a chef on Valcyn to make me crates of food.

I hope you guys hang in there, chefs are some of the most dedicated people to their profession and I hope something is done to help you guys.

Mind buffs are not limited to master dancers/musicians, a novice can buff mind as well, but the amount increases as they get their techniques line.

Well... if it makes any difference, I sure as heck dont plan on leaving the Chef line.. even if it does go down.. hehe, if not for the sheer thrill of actually playing a game knowing "hey... theres food, theres water.. lets party"

That, or you could always resort to the artisan firework display... heavens smile upon those random.. weird... people.. lol

Yeah no kidding. I'm enough behind on BOH as it is. And with a lot of food requiring meat that I can't seem to get in batches over 1-2k, I spend most of my time now babysitting my factories as it is. Being able to run only 1 full crate of BOH at a time, or 2 of the many others that require 2 components, is really painful.

Food does stack yes, but if you have 1400 mind, whats the point in buying food to buff it more?
