Heh, thanks folks

I'm enjoying Chef, for all that it seems incredibly slow. I'm certainly learning things, this is the first time I've tried my hand at an elite crafting profession (other than a brief go at weaponsmith late in beta) so you'd expect that

The general lack of knowledge in the broader community puzzles me though (and this is simply my perception that most folks don't really value food, but are happy to use drugs...errr spices), having said that I'm not sure quite how you get the message out......

When I first started I read quite a few threads about Chef and the problems with the class. I popped my first holo and the answer was Master Chef. After the initial laughter from a friend and some of the guild, I started looking at what the class could do, amazingly some of the inexpensive buffs that are out there. Through the grind I have laughed quite a bit when now that orders for food are appearing and the banter about me being a short order chef. All in all it is a good experience and for those who find the grinding slow, spend 30 minutes learning a basic macro it will save you carpal tunnel. Thanks for all of the information on the boards.
