Thread: Make Bespin Port 0 Fill

Here's something for you to try.
- Sort all the subcomponents for whatever you are making into the input hoppers of whatever factories you are wanting to use. For example, If you want to make Vegeparsine, put 20 crates of veghash, 20 crates of heavy nutrients and 40 carbosyrups in the input hopper.
- Grab some subcomponentsout ofthe first factory. For example on the vegeparsine, grab 2 veghash, 1 heavy additive, and 1 carbosyrup.
- Head to your house in whatever crafting city you live in.
- DO NOT USE BESPIN PORT ON EVERY EXPERIMENT
- I am assuming you already know where you want to spend your points so for foods that you want to experiment on 2 lines, do the following:
- Experiment the entire first line of the stat you are wanting to increase. Do this until you get an amazing sucess
- Once you get an amazing sucess, pop a Bespin Port
- Experiment the entire second line of the next stat you want to increase
- Rinse/repeat until you get 2 amazing sucesses in a row.
- Go out and load the factory and start it up
- Grab the subs out of the next factory and rinse/repeat
- Foods that require 3 lines to be experimented do the following:
- Experiment the entire first 2 lines of the stat you are wanting to increase both at the same time.
Sometimes an amazing sucess does not make a difference. For example, putting 1 point in flavor willcome outthe same whether it is a amazing or not. Sometimes hitting an amazing makes a difference on fill, sometimes not. Test these things to find the best plan of attack for getting a schematic made.
In the first example you can even forego the Bespin Port and experiment both lines at once. Once you get an amazing sucess you are done.
By using these techniques, I rarely fill up on Bespin Port while getting my 62 factories up and running. Like i said earlier, instead of running to the boards asking for a hand-out, try figuring out crafting techniques that will make your time spent at the factories more efficient.
EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION

Excellent post, this post is constructive and makes a valuable contribution to the thread - thank you. This addresses the issue raised by the OP and shows that there is a viable alternative to begging.
Your first post however was just loaded with sarcasm (almost to the point of vitriol) and was worded in an inflammatory way intended to provoke a flamefest and that is exactly what it achieved. A simple "read the stickies friend" would have been better than your first post and would have been a lot quicker than the excellent post above. You obviously know what you are talking about, cant we have the informative stuff without the ignorant stuff?
I apologise for matching crap with crap in my post, but more of your constructivepostsand less of the inflammatory ones might mean less forum bans for you and a bitmore respect from your fellow chefs. ![]()

I agree for the most part, but it is not my style![]()
If not for forum PvP, I would have nothing to do while at work and the day would just drag by.

Well I didn't like the tone of your initial posts... but then you chilleda bit so it'ds all good.
BUT... I had to comment on...
62 factories?! How the heck can you manage 62 factories and how could you possibly NEED 62 factories??
Lot-swaps galore eh?
Personally I've always been nervous about arranging lot swaps for my factories for 2 reasons:
1. I'm nervous they might decide to login one day and pull out a load of crates to sell for quick cash.
2. I'm ESPECIALLY paranoid that they will up and quit the game without telling me and sooner or later my factories stuffed with crates and resources will up and poof.
I've heard of this happenig to people... can't say I'm eager to invite the opportunity. :/ Otherwise I'd LOVE to have aseveral morefactories (not 62 but...
) anyone have any ideas about doing this the safe way? ![]()

Lol - can't argue with that.
I must admit to being a bit too quick to jump into a flame war with my own 2p sometimes. And trolling does help the hours fly by at work, it's a lot more entertaining than Crystal bleedin Reports anyway.

I actually only have 30 factories on lot swaps. 10 with a friend of a RL friend of mine so no worries there. The other is a very well established Chef on another server. Gotten to know her a bit since our first swap and I really have no worries there either.
I use my toons to drop the rest when it's time for a crafting push. About once every couple weeks I will do a huge crafting push and stock the vendors with 2k to 3k crates and then do other stuff for a while. Keeps me from getting bored with any one thing.
I have to use so many factories so as to keep up with sales. Started using innersactum or however it is spelled on June 8th. I've done over 600 million in sales since then. I average about 200 million a month, so I need the factories to keep up with the volume.
For those that dont know, this is Aelea of APEX Foods on Tempest. Unfortunately my other account is banned from the forums for another 2000 minutes for speaking my mind last week when that dillweed came in our forums and called us all greedy and dishonest.
Ahhh I see.. interesting I have never heard of anyone taking this approach (the "crafting push") before! Could work nicely I'm sure though! How many hours a day do you have to put in the make these 2-3k crates? ![]()
Also what is this "Innersanctum" you mentioned?

I also do similiar bouts... I'll just get in a crafting mood and make like 5 runs... but it's more like every week and a half... and not 2-3000 crates.

I actually operate on a similar process. its really like 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Works well for me i find.
