Droid crafting modules effectively have a zero effectiveness (the same as public crafting stations). So when you're in the field, you're losing both the bonus from the research city, and the 40+ from the station.

I didn't realize how much of a difference it made to be in a Research City and at a Private 40+ station until I tried to craft out at my factories with my droid. When I'm in the city, at the station, with my chef gear on, I get typically 2 amazing successes and not one failure. But, when I was "in the field" I didn't get a single amazing success and I critically failed one experimentation run on each item. I even failed twice once. I wasn't doing anything different other than my location. Could there be another explaination for the drastic change in results?

Well that's it then - Starting today I'm going to try to make all my schemes at my station for a time and see if I notice any change in my amazing success rate. Stay tuned...
Go to a research center and you will notice a hugh diffrence.
I just got force crafting ( free unlock) and I haven't really noticed any diffrence in the number of amazing success I've been getting, Is it true that the FC doesn't stack with city bonus ? If it doesn't ...what a waste
