Thread: Macro problems
Usually if you e-mail yourself the macro in game it cleans it up and you can just save it, otherwise your just gonna have to type it out.

I have found recently that macrosmay elicit no response from the system, but when I /dump I get the message that 'x running processes aborted' where x = the number of times that I have pressed hotkeys to run macros. I guess this indicates that the macros are running, just having no effect or not being interpreted correctly by the system. I have found that if I disconnect, using the asterisk icon '*' on the buttonbar, which will take you back to the character select screen, and then reconnect with the same toon, that the macroswill now function normally.
Possibly, the problemis connected to code to prevent recursive macro, possibly just another bug, possibly a laglike effect. I have also noticed that running 2 accounts simultaneously on 1 pc, the account in the background stalls on all game activity, and will rush through all that activity in a fast-forward manner when I switch to it. For example, If I have2 musician's playing together, while muso 1 is active and playing flourishes, muso 2 does not play macroed flourishes. When I alt-tab to the second muso, his chat logs will spam all the flourishes of muso 1, and muso 1 will spam action points overhead.
While this macro bug is annoying, it is not as annoying as having to rebuild chat windows every time I log in, ARRRGGHH!
