Thread: Why are a lot of the Chefs freeking out Post-CU?
Smugglers drugs more effective longer lasting.

Personnaly I think the new food chart is a blessing. Blob Candy and Spiced Teas are best sellers and they are so easier to craft than Brandy and Ahrisa!
I play on Kauri, and the CU has litterally stopped the economy there since it was published. Noone is buying anything, afraid of wasting a single credit in vain...
Yet, I sold a few things... mostly to PvPers. And Jedis. The beauty is that they are leading the way for other players:a MBH who's a regular customer of mine fought a Jedi yesterday, incapped him, went to DB... but never had time to... the jedi litterally jumped back on his feet... Starshine Surprise!
The BH understood taking a jedi down would now take longer than expected. Soon, he ran out of Action, and, ultimately, of Health (with all the displeasure this brings..). We had a little chat about that, and he bought me some gruuvan, blob, vercupti and...starshine. He loved it so much, he came back and ordered large quantities of it.
I believe this is the way it will bring economy back to life. Heavy players will always be willing to stay on top of the edge, cause getting a mere +200 to your health means surviving yet another hit. And people in contact with them will learn how to take advantage of our products too.
I really think this change is good. Getting a strong buff for only 10min doesn't mean you don't need it. It means you need four times more of it. ![]()

Changes this big are scary. When people get scared that something they've invested so much in is changing in such a big way people get jittery.
Its going to take time and patience to get used to the new system, but i honestly think that we're in that bad a shape (aside from the non stacking HAM foods, which i hope is a bug).
I tried some of my brandy yesterday, and let me tell you +430 health regen is nothing to be sniffed at.
Change with broken specials, broken food stacking, broken a million things is the worse kind.
Honestly, I'll even take feedback from THEM through you, but what the heck would it take for the dev that's in charge of Chef stuff to say, "Here's my design document. If it's not working as designed please inform me so and I'll fix it."
No yelling, no posturing, no anger, simple and brief, to the point.
