I don't mind this, Most of my food goes to a friend whose a CH and he feeds about 60-100 loaves of bread a day to his cats. The rest I give away to friends and fellow PA members.

I'm sure the members of my PA are getting sick of all the free offers for bread though

Well I stated in a previous thread

"Creature Handlers... Ok, I'm happy someone is buying my foods - but honestly is anyone else just a little depressed at least that your foods are basically kibbles n bits? I find this part of the Chef thing very disillusioning. Pets just don't appreciate culinary masterpieces like their owners do "

So yeah I'd say you're not the only one? Maybe you're a bit more vehement but it's a bid sad I think at the moment. It'd be cool if there were actually some foods meant to be pet foods, maybe.

I guess you folks are still behind on hitting Mixology II and III. I cannot keep up with the demand. Tat Sunburns and Ice Blasters are main sellers that everyone wants... and that I can make a profit on!

Then as someone said earlier, a lot of people drop their hides and meats into my vendor for one credit. I just throw all that crap into my factory and make crates of pet food. Pet food is just a courtosyI do for my customers if they leave the food. (charging 700 creds a crate, always selling out. Not sure if I should raise the price...)

Well that's certainly true, I'm not sure how advanced the other Chefs are on WH but I think atm there's only one with Mixology II atm, on Corellia. Watching the bazaar I can see maybe two other Chefs working. Of course there may be shops and such, too elsewhere. Anyways got diverted a bit hehe. What are you selling your things at? I like to always provide a full line (even if somethings don't sell well) but I'm having a real problem with pricing - the scheme I used in Domestics isn't as useful in Novice Chef and I suspect it will only get worse =/ I based my prices on the number of resources used, since you can generally get a good 4 credits a piece on the bazaar. Of course maybe not everyone is looking for wheat and corn and such... Basically I just took something like Aircake (24 resources) which I then rounded up to 250 and it sold fine. Now with something like Wastril bread which takes 35 resources though that means it'd be350 credits... (doing this from memory so sorry ifthe numbers are wrong).I'm just not sure people are willing to pay much beyond 300 for either pet foods or for items which don't buff that much so I'm trying to come up with a new scheme. I checked my vendor this morning and most of the items are still there - but then it's still very new as well. Comparison pricing would help a lot if anyone's willing to give it

Bleh I completely left out a step here... I meant to say, I took the resources used for making foods at 4 per, added about 6 creds onto each (Labor, harvester maintenance, etc). That gives me 10 creds per resource used to calculate the final price of a food.

Depending on my mood I may say "Sorry, but as a master chef, I dont do pet food, since its just not lucrative for me... I'm sure many of the people on novice chef, or domestic arts would appreciate the business", or might say something sarcastic like "Why dont you go ask a master weaponsmith to make you a CDEF next?".

I'm quite honestly only being able to make decent money at cooking by supplying CH's with crates of food for their pets *sighs* I wouldnt mind so much cause the guys are awesome and not only do they pay for the crates but they even hook me up with meat and hides, but.. those crates require using the factory.. with means piddly XP.. and since they are crates .. I dont even get an UXP I am sad..
