Nope I use AU36 for all of it. Great thing is I can afford to run it because while I was grinding chef up I had 3 fusions at 13 ber harvesting on a 90% on my server. Soo I had alot left over. I really dont mind though. I restock my vendor when ever I have at least 50 crates ready for sale. So that covers my costs by a little. I have about 4 food factories running. 5 Harvestors. 2 Fusions and 3 houses. Its good to have 4 accounts at your disposal.

Either way I dont like charging soo much for anything. Cause I hate it when I see a full suit of composite kill me for 200k now that is a rip off. Considering they only need metal and some fiberplast.

People shouldnt make accusations against professions that they know nothing about.

If I wasnt a chef and someone told me it took 10 hrs to makea single crate of drinks, Im not sure Id believe them. If I did I would think there is something horribly wrong. Some people place value on their time and work, others do not. Just because someone feels their time is worth something doesnt make them ripping anyone off. If you dont like the price dont buy it, end of story. Even if you know what the profession involves, you dont know the circumstance of the individual items. You may not know that that reactive gas in your drink sells for 20 cpu. Newsflash, our resources arent cheaper than anyone elses just because we are chefs and we do have to compete with weaponsmiths, docs,etc for resources which are known for paying higher than normal cpu for resources.

Scamming and ripping off are two phrases that are used in swg entirely too much. If I sold you a crate of breath of heaven and told you it was 475 uses then after purchasing it you found it was 200 uses. THEN I scammed you or ripped you off. If you dont like my price, tough crap, find someone else to buy from. That doesnt make me a scammer or a rip off artist. Since all stores dont sell stuff as cheap as walmart, does that make them scammers? No. Just because its a game the definition of the word doesnt change.

I got akind of off topic story, recently a chef I know was unable to make glucose due to a lack of meat (domesticated I think it was). After talking with him I agreed to help him get some meat in return for a bit of glucose.

Anyway, I spent a couple days gathering meat and ended up with a stack of over 20k of medium quality meat (nothing over 700 so it wasn't spectacular). What did I get in return for all that work?A crate of 20 glucose pates! For 20K meat! I was a little peeved until I saw how quickly they leapt off his vendor when herestocked. Our agreementnow is that I get himresources and he lets me know when he's restocking so that I can get first dibs .

Of coruse, taking Fishaks for example, at300 per use and 7 uses per fishak, I'd have to agree that the price seems steep. If you use 150 resources per fishak (it's actually less I believe) you are charging 14 cpu for your outproduct. That's almost weaponsmith levels .

HOWEVER, food is a seller's market and thankfully I've realized that a moved on. Heck, jack up your prices all you want if people are still buying, it's what EVERYONE would do and it's what you SHOULD do. Welcome to capitalism. I just wish I could get by with charging even 100 credits per use on stims .

I think that the original poster now understands why Fishak costs what it does. Supply/Demand and Percieved/True time value and all that jazz. Btw, a crate of Fishak on Ahazi is being auctioned right now...current price, 200k.

I guess the original post was deleted but just wanted to state:

Muon Gold 25 uses per crate @ 8,000 = 320 CPU

Fishak 200 uses per crate (25 stacks of 8 each) @ 60,000 = 300 CPU

Who doesn't know there math?
