Thread: Who is Making Tatooine Sunburns in Crates?
I was making them in crates when I could only make stacks of 1, due to no skill and crappy material, so it was actually easier for me than doing them by hand. I still do them for people who want a stack of 25, but charge 12500 per crate, so I'm making my money and customers are getting what they want.
From a logistics standpoint, my factory is eating resources whether it is running or not, so if I have extra material and time is always an issue, I like using the factory. Hell, if they ever got it working that would be gravy on the icing.

Well it's only eating power if it's running.
Luckily I can keep my factory occupied on meds (when it's not broken, great patch devs), so it doesn't feel like a waste. :/
You give the customer what they want. Most of my crate customers are Master Craftsmen that have most of their available space tied up in running their own business. They've got more money than the Pope and are willing to pay a premium to save inventory slots.

Uhhh... who in their right mind would make Tatooine Sunburns in crates... when the factories don't yield any QUANTITY. In my opinion, quantity is everything...

Doc, if you read my follow up post heh, you'd know i'm not charging 1 credit :: 1 resource
He grants you your deth star. Don't tell anyone though, it's an exploit.
well the price for one use of Tatooine Sunburn on Flurry is about 500cr.... I was the first to sell them and that price seems to have stuck. I have seen a few out there and already they are beginning the undercutting lol. Anyways thats supply/demand for you.
I agree that making large stacks or Tatooine Sunburn is the way to go. So for example if I have a stack of 2 = 1000cr, 3=1500cr, ... 9=4500cr. Well when you are stacking 9 at 4500 per stack PLUS using way less resources .. the answer is pretty obvious. Also not charging premium for the higher stacks though you could I consider it sufficient to price simply at 500cr per use.
I say stack em and rack em. Until food factories are fixed forget about it.

Crates of Sunburns also seem to be somewhat of a "prestige" item for the wealthiest of the wealthy. They buy them that way because they can afford to. Trying to talk economy and value with those customers goes over about as well as telling the Porsche driver they are over-paying for a performance car as the maximum speed limit is 65 mph.
