On my server I charge..
+25.15/15.2m/3 charge Bivoli for 225k each
+420/44.5m/21 charge/49 fill brandy for 225k each and +430/44m/21charge/42 filling for 275k
+409/44.5m/32 filling Ahrisa for 200k each.
I used to be cheaper but kept selling out too quickly so had to up prices and sell out in just a few days more now. I am one of the best chefs on my server and really just started a month ago. I collected the points/resources before I went chef so I would be insured success.
One of my guildies is a chef too, makes better brandy but ahrisa/bivoli isn't as good. He charges about 50k each less on me but he takes longer to sell out, marketing isa BIG deal, imo. Trade forums really help.

I would second the suggestion to price compare on your own server. It's so easy to do this now, with the vendor category on the global map, and friends and guildies can probably give you wps to the top chefs.
Even though I'm an old-school chef from launch day, I recently did this exact same thing.
I had to take a 2-month absence from the game, and so when I returned recently I made sure I visited the top 3 chefs people recommended, as well as about 7-10 other random chef vendors I found on the global map.
Things really seemed to have changed a lot while i was gone, most likely due to the big chef revamp and the influx of many more chefs.
Themain thing I noticed is that prices seem to be all across the board on my server. For example, I've seen canape sell for anywhere from 74k up to 183k a crate, with similar stats.
This can make it a little hard to find a reasonable pricing system for yourself, but at least you do get an idea of what's out there, and you can see where in the range you want to be.
One consideration is how busy you want to be as well. If you're willing to work your ass off and maintain 8+ factories continuously, you can afford to charge less than the norm and make your profit up in volume.
And some folkswho don't play as often, or who would like to have game-lives outside the kitchen, sometimes charge more than the norm so that they don't have to restock their vendor as often.
I used to be the former and to be honest, it really burnt me out. I had started out as this small-time specialty cafe that only my planet knew about, where I could RP to my heart's content and really make a connection with my customers, and it morphed into a multi-planet Wal-Mart where people were ordering as much as 50 crates of food at a time, and I just started feeling like an automaton. Basically it started feeling like a second "job".
Now after taking my break, and adjusting my prices up a bit, I've found a good balance, where my prices are still reasonable, but I now have time todo other things in the game with my friends.
Hope this helps a bit,
Haala
