entertaininer buffs may still be valuable, but this really flushes the spice market. Spice is like food, except:
1/7 the stack size.
1/4 the duration.
1/3 the effect.
-and-
the joy of puking.

This isn't how spice is supposed to work. Spice was supposed to be more powerful than food to compensate for the downer.

Regardless, low filling doesn't sound like a good idea to me. In my experiments filling didn't improve nearly as fast as buff size or duration, and especially if you're burning additivies, it seems to me you want too get the most bange *per use* (bigger buffs or duration), not use up your hard-to-get additives as quickly as possible (lower filling). 'course, if a BE hands me a filling additive, I would certainly use it. But my purchases will be for one of the other two effects.

I guess how "insane" a buff is acceptable is directly proportional to how limited additive availability is. Remember, SV's results are with a mere "light" additive. While yes, after a bit of time you could reach a sustainable +1700, what would a medium or heavy additive look like? After all, those additives cost a ridiculous amount of rarer resources... will we be hitting +2500? +3000?

well this going to sound strange but as fencer/swordsmen vegraian brandy or however its spelled aint what im looking for in most circumstance. For day to day pve i look mostly for stuff that eliminates ham cost. This isnt going to help a power hammer hamtherefore for me its not on the top of my list. While this looks great dont think its going to be the only thing customers are going to look for. However i now have great hope for the new food system.

There is almost no way someone is going to be making 1000 item run after run of this stuff all with additives. The lowest additive is 15 creature resources. 15k per factory run. The filling light is 40 creature resources.

I'm not saying they won't be used, I'm just saying they will be limited. Even if every ranger harvested just wild and dom meat on a server I don't think they could keep up with a few chefs. If the filling is lowered and someone uses more they are going through it twice as fast.

SV said above even TC is having trouble keeping up and I would assume that is only regular stuff with no additives.

Forget breath of heaven...Vasarian brandy is going to be one of our best sellers. Some people on the test center are already having problems with keeping up with the orders.
Why is this? Well, it can buff Mind, Focus and Willpower for around 166 with decent materials. The cool thing is that with a light additive they got the filling down to 12! This means that if you fill up you can get a buff of 1328 to the mind attributes for 40 minutes. And you can take another roughly once every 5 minutes.

It's not really as good as it sounds. I can get about the same buff (more Mind, no Willpower, but roughly equivalent) with 2 glazed glucose and a fishak right now, and it only takes chomping 3 charges of non-BE-enhanced food instead of 8 of enhanced. The brandy is still good, but I have a feeling some of the skill mod & special effect food is gonna be more popular than most of the stat mod food. This will probably be the only stat mod seller. Don't forget about the pet buffs though. If you put a filling additive in those, then you can stack up some truly insane buffs on pets...just think non-CH pets w/ 10k+ HAM...they'll be worth using again.

But you are forgetting duration. 40 minutes compared to 12 average minutes cannot even compare.

What kind of alcohol did you use?

Does anyone see something familiar about this brandy? ... Hmm, fishak replacement perhaps.

I don't think entertainers need worry about us stealing their market, or the smuggers. I could see if the different buffs didnt't stack, but they do. In my PA we never go out for serious PVP without stacking entertainer buffs, food and spice, along with the doctor buffs. (well, I won't take spice, cause it's unladylike to puke, but that is my choice).

On another note, can anyone list what the bioengineer components are going to require so I can start gathering the neccessary resources for the Bio in my PA?

There is only one kind of alcohol (Alcohol) in the revamp, others have been taken out.

Geeeuz just think of Muon gold + Vasarian brandy + dancers mind buff!! Even with the muon gold downer you'd still be formidable. Riflemen just lost thier advantage of hitting the mind pool....
