Factories do give exp - 10% of normal exp per item.

As for the meat, we're talking about 2 units. That's 50 units for a crate. You should be able to find that on the bazaar for 100-200 creds easily, and you easily make that back if you sell the crate of food for a few grand.

Meat is needed for a lot of chef recipes. It's pretty important you start to figure out a bettersupply if 50 units is too painful .

true - and I stock a good supply of very good meat. There is carnivore meat on Flurry right now with all three stats averaging over 900 (best 964 lowest 850something)

I just hate buying things on the bazaar.. if you can gather and work with your own stuff you are getting much more for your money and efforts. everything else is NBS

Ida - i had my two factories running on Ormacheck's and Sunburns this past weekend and I got zilch xp from them over 2 hours. I was busy working on some medical orders so I was able to go back and check every now and then. Nope, nada. *shrug*.

Let me clarify. I was working on the medical orders from within my house next door to my two factories as they happily spat out sunburns and ormacheks.

Well I've watched my exp bar go up by precisely 10% every few minutes when running my factory. This was a few weeks ago when I last really looked at it but it definitely did happen. And that's the way it's supposed to work, so maybe you're seeing a bug.

I don't count on exp from my factory, since 10% is miniscule over the time it takes to actually make something. Just wanted to point out that factories are supposed to give 10% exp, not none.

I'm a master artisan and ranger. So i have access to meat.

My shop is right in front of the rebel base on Rori on Chilatsra. The place is full of CH.

I do dustcrepes. Stacks of 12. 12 x 25 = 300 doses. I sell crates for 6300 (21 creds a shot) and stacks for 300 (25 a dose).

It is highly popular since dustcrepe gives a stamina boost, so i suspect handlers to eat some to add to their sunburns.

Of course, with the stack bug, and the stealth CH love (creature almost NEVER are hungry since last patch), my business is on the low side.

Ida, unless you have been gone from the game the last week, factories are not giving xp. You said you looked a few weeks ago. Well, haven't you seen the posts from after the recent large patch? NO XP.

Is that no exp by design or a bug? I'm guessing a bug.

As I said, I don't really pay attention, since the exp from like a run of 100 sunburnsat 10% is like 300. Wooooohoooo.
