Bump. I'm not a chef but I have experienced many manyunusable food stacks lately, no msg or anything, just nothing happens at all when you click on the stack, and I was not full.

Has anyone heard if this is just food that is affected, or are other stackables having this problem? I am thinking the medical stims and such. As long as you finish the stack before logging there is no problem, but if you leave any food or drink uneaten in a stack you have started... you will not be able to finish that stack when you log in again. I have yet to try eating off the floor of my house because, well, I don't need the buffs from the food while in my house

Has anyone elsebeen able to determine...

Is this is specific to factory or handmade food? (in my case, yes on factory)

Is this specific to pre-patchitems or items made from pre-patch subs? (in my case, yes on pre-patch subs)

I've had this happen to a LOT of food & drink in the last few days. It affects all types, no matter how new it is, or whether it was hand crafted ort factory made.

I basically cannot sell anything, and have had to refund every cr Ive made in the last week.

This may be the last straw for me. If it isnt fixed within 2-3 days, Im leaving the chef profession. I stayed because there was finally light at the end of the tunnel, but every day I see more & more people saying how my buffs suck compared to spices & doctor buffs.

I even took up smuggler so I could offer spice & food, and I see PA members asking for spice rather than food, because despite the downer, the buff is a lot better while it lasts.
The ONLY thing people want from a chef is sunburns, and atm, I darent make a damned thing.

I know it takes time to fix bugs, and its currently the weekend, but Ive just had enough

I have still had no reports of this problem from my customers.

Also - if Tatooine Sunburns are the only thing that you are selling then you are going about it the wrong way and not properly educating people on the value of your food. Every time you sell one, include a nicely experimented steak or other drink for free so they can see what its all about. Most people have NO clue about food and drink uses.

I make 10k per crate of 12 use wastril breads or stewed gwouch labelled as "pet food". I can't keep them on hand and I just stand outside the theed or coronet starport and sell them there.

I made over 100k in the last day and have orders out the wazoo.. chef is great.. and I am not even a master yet!

In my case it is hand made food made pre-patch. Haven't tried any foods made post-patch.

<raises hand>

This started happening to me POST patch with pre patch food. I bought some post patch food and used it post patch and got the same result...(say that 5 times fast )

I have 5 stacks of sunburn (varying stack quantities) and 6 stacks of ryshcake (varying stack quantities) that are basically on strike (read: I can't use the darn things).

I should add that the pre patch food was hand made and the post patch food was factory made = same bug is occuring

This bug is hitting me HARD. Unhappy customers, people who say they're not going to buy any food at all until the bug is fixed. It's a nightmare.

I have been able to find no pattern -- itseems to affect bothpre-patch and post-patch foods, handmade and factory made.

I have urged all my affected customers to enter a /bug on it, in the hopes that the more people who complain, the faster they will address this problem.

I feel just horrible that my customers are losing money this way. They know it's not my fault, but it doesn't make things any easier when I hear that a customer is out 10k because none of his food is usable.

Thanks for the tip on dropping it on the floor. I'll ask them to give it a try. At least they'll lose one charge and not the whole stack that way.

I cam here to see if this was a known issue. Every person I know that uses Sunburn, made before and after the patch, has uses that can not be used. They simply stop working. This seems like a gamebreaker for Chefs I hope the Devs get some love in here soon.

My customers have been very understanding, and are very pleased when dropping it on the floor and /eat fixes the stack. (I have gained customers from other chefs when they ask me to buy the broken food from them, and I fix the stack and give it back to them No charge, I then explain how to do it)
