Thread: going prace for fishak crate of 25
I sell per use at 250cr per use, crates are usually 60-70k on my vendor with a standard quality and I always write how many uses in a crate in description.

I'm just over 300 a serving too. actually the first batch i did was 7 charges and i sold for 2200, for a crate price of 55k. A guildmate used to get his off someone else with similiar stats and charges for 60-80k so i felt good about it.
But since I got one whole factory working on the pu36's and another going on the carbos and fishak itself, and i still cant keep up, i may raise it. Why not make the money if people are willing to pay it.
I've finished my holos and decided it was time to take a break from combat. I've always respected vendors and like working with houses/tents/furniture/vendors/etc.
I'd never done artisan before, so I mastered that first (after holos) and I'm currently doing Merchant and the one class I don't see to often on my server (Chef) I'm almost 0-0-2-0. I'm enjoying selling single serving items on my vendors now (they are selling quick!) and I like the Chef profession quite a bit. However, since I've rarely seen Chefs on my server, I'm at a total loss on what to charge. I haven't made any factory runs yet, but I'm planning on starting soon. I hope to keep Chef for the long haul, its been a lot of fun thus far.
Now for my questions:
1. Could we use a thread to list craftable Chef items and have other Chefs post their price ranges per factory crate? I'm NOT trying to start price fixing, I just want to be fair in what I charge (to other players and myself). I'm running my own harvesters and also buying a few bulk chunks ofresources from time to time.
2. Are Chef factory crates in 25 or 50 lots?
3. During experimentation, I get 3 rows of items to experiment (on some things). What do each of the 3 effect during experimentation? Last night I got 3 amazing success results on the top column but noticed no difference in buff or duration of buff or quantity of item. Even though many of the trees seemed to have more blocks to check for experimentation, they often capped at under 40 percent. Is that my level being low or the cap for the buff?
4. At 0-0-1-0 I have 11 Chef points for experimentation. How many does Master Chef have?
Thanks!

I think you have 11 points of artisan experimentation. At master chef you will have 10 points of food experimentation.

Hmmm ... I was using food crafting tools and standing next toa 43.0 crafting station. I did notice several of the items I created with the 11 points increased the buff and the buff duration, but I wasn't sure which of the 3 experimentation fields did what ... it seems to be random at best.
Thanks! Asur

Foods made in the artisan lines take artisan experimentation; double check what you were making, it's probably something in domestics (artisan). Also, humans get an extra artisan experimentation point, so you'd have 11 experimentation points for things in the artisan lines.
The Flavor experimentation line affects buff duration. (How long said buff lasts.)
The Nutrition experimentation line affects buff amount. (How much the buff actually *is*.)
The Quantity experimentation line affects the number of uses in the end product - some you may have to guess at, because drinks are a bit messed up currently (Tat Sunburn, Fishak, Breath of Heaven); everything else will say at the top what uses the end product will have.
Frankly imo until you at least get to Cooking III, don't bother experimenting - you end up doing more harm than good.
And my price for Fishak is currently 62500 for a full crate of 25 (I think they have like 10 uses atm) - I only put two to three crates on my vendor at one time. It's the only way I can regulate how quickly they sell and stay "in stock".
When I can get the highest quality non-berry non-flower fruit then I charge 250 credits a use, and 45k for a 200-use crate (that's a 10% discount).
Usually though I have to uselower quality fruit and then I'll knock another 5% off, so it would be 42k for that same crate. (I can't wait for the day when we finally get a high quality fruit source on Tarquinas so I can throw every single heavy floral I have on it!
I never see decent fruit on the bazaar either, but enough of me whining.)
I cannot keep these in stock. I have a 9-day waiting list for fishaks right now. I could probably charge more, but I have been trying to resist that.
I think that it is good to see in general what other people are charging so you at least have an idea, and you're not seriously overcharging or undercutting, but as you can see there's a big range of prices out there. There are probably differences across servers as well for resources and finished products.
Good luck!

Isell mine for 45k but mine have like 27-30 charges on them.
you mean like the crate equals 27-30 total charges I assume? hehe
