While I agree duration is the most important, people just don't buy BE brandy with less than a 400 buff. So I would say it's more important to push the nutrition over 400 and use what's left on duration. To the guy who said he's got 11 points and cant get his buff over 400, you must be using some poor resources. To make quality brandy, and by this I mean >400, >44.5 min, 50 fill, and 21 uses, you need to start with GOOD resources. at least 750 in DR and average of 900 in the other stats.

My current batch of brandy on my vendor is (+431mfw/45min/50fill/18uses). The most powerfull brandy I've made though was (+456mfw/35min/21uses). That was using +90 BSN's.

i finally made some better BE tissues, and have +436 43 minute 50 filling 18 use brandy on my vendor now. i don't try to get 45 minutes, 43 is enough to get no down time when drinking doubles. but i do wish i had 12 points instead of just 11, to get it up to 21 uses or put a bit more duration on there.

He must be useing very poor resources for the additives. There really isn't any trick in making good additives. Its all in the resources. Get the highest OQ/PE/FL flora and meat you can find. Using meat in only the spot it is needed. Use flora in the other 2. Using fairly good flora 2400+ (OQ+PE+FL) and 2000+ Meat you should be around 84%. Those are just rough numbers, as it doesn't look like the 33%/33%/33% for additives is correct.

maybe this is more a question for the BE forums, but my be is working with really good quality materials, and still can't seem to get much past +73 on his additives....and he's a master too.....anybody know why?
and thanks for all your posts, helps out a lot

I used 33% 33% 33% for the longest time to judge BE resource. These weighting are incorrect, but in all that time they really didn't steer me wrong. If you want an exact weighting for your resources, use 20% FL 30% PE 50% OQ.
