Well I won an auction for a Chef apron last night for 500k. Pretty good considering the prices of late.

Now I just need the patch to go in where Wookies can wear them, and Edix will be well on his way.

Hang in there Edix...don't give it up yet. Try out all those other skill enhancing foods and take up Sykes on all his "sugar daddy" offers. Once you've gotten settled you'll get farther. Try to come up with new ideas to keep your interest in the profession: Opena restaurant, create a bot to advertise your vendor 24/7...definitely make friends with a guild...they'll be the willing guinea pigs for your foods. Give samples for free and they'll bring you the research results you need to know how effectively your food is being used! I know chef isn't always fun...it only recently got better for me, especially with the help of my bf being a BE and help from our tailor friend. But I'm unguilded and so in certain ways I am like you.If youhave taken all the suggestions made on this thread and are still unhappy...then by all means...pack up your chef hat and apron and continue on to something more fulfilling. Being a chef to me is a humbling profession (not glorifying like combat) and not many flock to it as their chosen profession...but I love foodand I love feeding my community and so I cannot leave it.
