I will miss Chairman Kaga. No one else could get away with wearing those sequins coats and rhinestonecapes since Liberace! ALLEZ CUISINE! I am looking forward to the American version; I hope they can keep the seriousness yet campiness of the Japanese version and also keep the exotic ingredients.

yeah.... the american version is very dumbed down and not so much about the food, you can tell by the people they picked for judges, only one person was qualified to judge and his comments were only shown on 3 of the dishes! Japan had it right, america is going in the wrong direction, but still has a chance to make it good. We'll see when it starts jan 16 or 18? (anyone remeber which date it is)
