I use the deafult name by BatCave Inc. This is what I use to ID my foods from other chefs.

I also tag my foods, both with my shop name *and* my name. This way, every time one is eaten, the eyes can focus on either "PhatStatz" or "Malia" and either way, it makes it easier for people to locate me. I was especially adamant about putting my name in the name of the items because there are times when a crate is split that the name of the creator is altered to the person that did the splitting as opposed to the one that did the creating.
I've had several people who purchased things from me on the bazaar send me tells asking where my shop was (granted, the WP is also listed in the names of all foods I post on the bazaar, but that's another story, lol), which I assume was because they noticed the "by Malia" tacked onto the end. Stating that the item is made by you sort of dummy-proofs things because it can't be mistaken for anything else (since some of the names out there could be anything; shop names, people's names, catch phrases, etc., etc.).
Though I've considered just putting {PS} in front of every item name, it's never been more than a lazy, passing thought. I mean, who knows what {PS} stands for when my shop is specifically called "PhatStats Bar and Grill"? It becomes a tag that nobody can tie anything into.
Aesthetic purposes aside, I think making both the name of your shop, as well as your own name as visible as possible can only be a good thing in the long run.

My naming convention is as follows, "[nutrition of food] ([maximum possible buff with one stomach filling]) [name of food] -by Akiko" So my canape would look like this... +758 (+2274) Vagnerian Canape -by Akiko'. I guess it serves two purposes; I put my name in there so I can possibly get a little brand recognition, and to show how much total buff you can accomplish at a glance.

Every single crate of food I make starts with Vallyn's Amazing. It's been great for business.

I tag mine at the end of the description. It makes it easier for people to search the food that they want and my shop name is still in the title.
It looks like this: Vasarian Brandy +405 M/F/W 45m30s 49fill -Spatula City-

Food Name [SiyBer] and then stats
I leave the food name at the begining so that when they sort the vendor is still sorts right and they can find what they need. Eventually they will fix the vendor interface and you will be sort by specific food/drink.

Yea I think I"m gonna switch it up to that too (have only made a bunch of subcomponents so far). That way there is no consufison between Tusken Foods and Tavern Foods lol.
