Thread: Vegeparsine, Pica, Pikatta, Air Cake, Vayerbok & an Obi-wan expansion question Need Dev Response
The fact is, a Dev response is unlikely other than "working as intended". To not carry these foods would be a mistake. Customers that swear by them would find another Chef that does make them. It seems to me with all of the "testing" being done, that they do work in some fashion for just about everyone. I myself do not use Vegeparsine or Thundercloud, but am an avid Vayerbok/Pikatta Pie user. Because of the uncertainty of the effectiveness of any foods, my recomendations are as follows.
Purchase foods that you have never used before in singles.
If you are not getting the desired effect from the food you are using, do not purchase them.

if you read the stats on pikatta pie and aie cake..it does not say 54% (or whatever stat your using), but says dodge bonus of 54. This is NOT a % like in precurb days. Just as is vayerbok. it does help a small bit (like defenses jumping from 200 to 254, you will see a small increase in defense).
Lack of Documentation = Power for SOE. This way they can always say, "Working As Intended" and no one can say otherwise.
I peronsally will only stock the foods that I actually use and those are: (Do Not Comment on Spelling. I do not make room in my brain for game words)
Blob Candy
Bofa Treat
Caf
Air Cake
Pikitta Pie
Bespon Port
Pollyane Cake (Assembly One)
Garrilyn Juice
Vegash.
I use these and from my personal experience they seem to add benefit.
Never hold your breath for a Dev, cause you will clone.
K so... now we know that Vegeparsine & Thundercloud do in fact work, but the devs need to respond on if they're working HOW they're supposed to or not. And yes, this answer would apply to all ranged/melee defense mods not just food...
Now that the important people care about it (the Jedi in other words) I would expect an answer soon.
And if I ever see another "vegeparsine/pica doesn't work" thread I may turn on the flamethrower.

i can say for sure that vayerbok and aircake stack has kept my jedi up and spinning more the a few 100 times while tanking lairs before i had as much defender as i got now
Yes, there are plenty of people who say they work. There are also plenty of people who say they don't.
My point is that I want a response from the devs, pure and simple. I'm sick and tired of this lack of communication when it's not that complicated for them to say something (unless they simply don't know - in which case they should find out).

*Edit* Though they did essentially state in the Friday Feature thing that Pikatta works at least, so there's one thing (though a nice encapsulation of all the questionable things and an answer would be greatly appreciated).

Hey, I know you! ![]()
And still no answer I see...
+Block+ or +miss+ both have a dramatic increase after drinking it.
I spent 5 hours testing out these foods and found some interesting info in the process.
Vegaparsine and Thundercloud work but the description is misleading. The food works for the weapon your holding and only works when you unequip and reequip your weapon. IE if you use a melee weapon, you want to use Vega. If your ranged drink thundercloud.
Air Cake and Pikatta pie work. The only think I noticed when using these foods was a slight mitigation in dmg taken. I did not notice a differance in how many times I was hit or missed. I was missed about the fequency with no foods and with Air cake effect on.I will go back and test this further.
Vayerbok does Not work. With no foods on average blocked about 2-3 attacks in a time stamp of 3 mins. Did this several times and about the same number of blocks. I eat the food and did the same test. Several times with unequiping the weapon like the bug on Veg and thunder, and still no differance. The food i have is +25 to block, same as Valor. I ran the valor macro with no foods to test the differance. WOW, I was blocking so many times after 2 mins I stopped counting. Obviously Valor was working fine. But when I drink Vayerbok, I got nothing.
