Now I have another question, Im guessing using a cask gets a stack of 21, yet here on naritus the common place is stacks for 18, do I still use a cask for this or a large glass?

Wow thanks for all the help, Its not easy starting off, one mistake and I will end up broke nd angry at the chef profession =(.

With all the info Ive come across Ive decided its best to make 20 crates (start small as someone suggested) BE enhanced (another suggestion) in a stack of 18-21.
I have another question not really related to the production of food directly. Should I stock pile on foods? Right now I beleive i have a stock of dr-816/fl- 859/pe-964/oq-768 berries. In the long run its much more efficent to harvest all my resources when im not producing food yes?
Ohh and if you all have any other suggestions shoot, I probably would be in a deep hole if it werent for the chef community =)

Hi all i am not a powergamer but i do seem to get through about a crate of 25 a week being a novice chef i dontknow much about how much u shud make but i think that u want to make smaller products and as i am a regular for brandy i NEVER buy non Be brandy cause it dosent make much difference against high lvl mobs so go with the Be stuff but dont make a full fac run m8 u want to keep some creds or ingrediants ofr orders and a rainy day.

Well that is my suggestion good luk

From my perspective there is NO way you can ever have enough resources. You should try to have all your harvesters in use all the time. If there's good flora available harvest that, otherwise harvest junk flora (especially domestic wheat) to use for components, junk crystalline gemstones for casks, junk water for enhancements or the other odd ball high qualily resources you needlike lubricating oil, soft wood, water, etc. Once you get rolling it's easy to blow though serveral million units of resources in a week, especially if you make BE enhancements.

Also, if you end up with more of a particular resource than you need you can always sell it or trade it for resources you need.

Side note - I sell a TON of unenhanced brandy on Kettemoor. It certainly doesn't bring in the dough like BE brandy (and I sell tons of that too), but most people bothering with non-BE brandy use throw-away resources (not at all saying you're doing that Kmad, just saying it's what I've observed at some other chef shops) and that convinces the uneducated customer that enhanced is the only way to go. I use my same good resources on my regular brandy and it flies off the shelves. People do eventually figure out that unless you're soloing or pvping, BE brandy is a waste of money, especially when there's a good non-BE alternative. Mix it in with ahrisa and they're golden.

But yes, to strike it rich quick - trade-board-auction the BE stuff. To have fun as a merchant and make a lot of money over a long period of time - you'll need a lot more than brandy.

hehe any chefson Briaaregonna have around 200 people looking for a new brandy supplier for awhile I'm stuck overseas right now tell july 5th but since the chef Revamp I've been saling over 2k Bio-Enhanced brandy a week. just get people to notice your shop and you should be fine. Bio-enhanced is definitly the way to go since its what most people are looking for. I'm only a 10 point chef but with my resources I can get 49 filling+386 for 46 mins I would just say if you dont have the best resources shoot for around 50 filling +350 then put the rest in duration.

- oh i know you weren't meaning me i base the idea that nonBE brandy doesn't sell well on the fact that the first batch i made, before i had a BE, i put on my vendor, and it does sell, but i still have some crates left from that one run. my BE brandy, which is priced on the high end compared to some chefs, sells almost too fast.

- /100%agree on the last point! it's so much fun seeing what else is good, and watching people become addicted to other things (most recently ahrisa).
