Wow ... scary. If Fishak, Tivoli and Glucose Paste disappear without superior mind-buff foods, this will absolutely kill the last few chefs patient enough to have stayed in the business through all the long months of empty promises.

Just scary.

Just want to double check that food/drink buffs stack with themselves.

For example, if Ieat 9Blob Candies, will my action increase by 9*39=351?

Blob Candy
18/27/10/17
Action +39 30m
11
6

If this is the case, you have to really look at the filling of a food/drink before you compare it to current foods/drinks, which allow only 1-2 to be consumed at a time.

Stat buffs stack so yes, you can eat those nine 11 filling candies and get +351 action. When I was doing my stomache tests, I ate ten 10 filling blob candies for an total +410 to action. Skill buffs andresist buffsdo not stack, you getthe message"you are already under the effect of that food" and do not consume the dose. Foods that are triggered for a certain number of effects (damage mitigation, ormachek's xp bonus) give the same message until you've "used up" the effect. I'm assuming foods with triggered effects like Starshine's incap time reduction do not stack, but I never thought to check.Maybe you can have two starshines "queued up" to take care of two incaps.

HAM buffs stack, like you stated. Skill buffs from a single food do not. When I tried to eat 2 Travel Biscuits, I got a message saying "You are already under the influence of this food. You can't eat it again"

I don't know about artisan/chef food that have the same skill buff (Cavellin cream and Starshine Surprise for instance)

Ack! I forgot the experimentation numbers on that one. *sigh* It's likely due to bad experimentation on Nutrition.

Okay, I did another one. This time I recorded the results.

Deneelian Fizz Pudding
Unexperimented
14/11/18/12
Increases chances to dodge an attack 33% for 1m19s
74
1(Not listed on experiment window)

Experimented
42/25/39/19
Increases chances to dodge an attack 36% for 1m30s
66
1(Not listed on experiment window)

At 39% Nutrition Experimentation, there is only 36% bonus to dodge. Looks kind of like a bug to me.

I don't know. With the percentages you posted, that would equate to a +30-45 dodgebonus. Considering how many pistoleers took up fencer (and vice versa) when the dodge stacking between those two professions was discovered, I'd think that's going to be a good seller. Especially once the devs make the skill modifiers only apply when you're wielding the appropriate weapon; I'm assuming there will be a "pistol dodge" and a "1-handed dodge".

Right now Fencer's don't get +30 dodge until...um...ok they have +25 dodge total at master. So will that be 25 + 30 (55), or 25 + 25 * 0.30 (32.5)? Cripes, if it's the first one, this will sell like hotcakes to pistoleers and fencers. They'd be more thandoubling their dodge for a minute and a half and not having to master a whole second profession. And non-dodging professions get better skills than a master fencer who's not using the food...

Actually, I talked with ceiko on Testcenter briefly. He tried "The defense buff" I gave him (don't remember which), and said that it was a good thing that they don't stack. Apparently he took much less hits (damage) with it working.

I wish I remember which one it was. But positive responses so far from the people who try the food.

On the test center, I have been spending a lot of time on Dantooine where the other correspondents are...and I ain't going anywhere without my crispic and synthsteak.

They are both working very well.

I don't see Tatooine Sunburn on that list. Did they eliminate it?

I've recently started using a lot of food and was really happy with what it can do. Looks like I should stock up on these foods now as I probably won't be buying any new foods when this hits live. Terribly sorry for you chefs, you've had it rough for a long time.

Foods might suck now, re-evaluate this revamp after the combat balance.

You are worried about the mind healing foods when mind healing probably won't even be an issue anymore. Same with foods used to reduce action costs, could be a moot point after the balance.
