Thread: Wookiees and crafter's aprons

I'm a doctor , not a chef, but I think its important for everyone to know that wookiees cannot wear the new +5 experimentation and assembly aprons made from the Jabba's themepark schematic. I think this is a terrible oversight of the developers which penalizes Wookiee crafters. Certaily they can make a crafter's apron that fits both species - take a lookat the new chef's apron for example.

To help get this changed, I encourage you to submit /bug reports in game or sign below. Thank you!

Men can't wear the new leotards, I'm not complaining. It was well documented that certain species have certain restrictions, sorry to tell you this but it is a choice you made when you rolled your charachter.

I can respect that (its why I've been a chef since the game started hehe ), but did you have to go for wookie? They're big, furry, and annoying

You could have been basicly anything besides a human and been pretty unique
I personaly took Zabarak because they had the best discription and were neat looking.
It was only later I found out they were the best race hehe

Zabrak unique? Not on Bria. Wookiees are quite rare, our guild is an all wookiee guild and I hang around wookiees all day, but I still see waaaaayyyy more non furries.

You wanna talk about rare, find a bothan

Actually, myself and several other correspondents (Anabelle and KStarfire) already started poking the developers about this.

Fel,

I agree with you in certain aspects, which is why I always roll my eyes when people talk about wookiees not being able to wear armor or don't have enough clothes (If you ever meet me in game, I have a bandolier, belt and gloves....dressed like a proper wookiee). However, since this is a new thing people had no way of knowing this would be a restriction when they choose wookiees.

Although I could see a wookiee wearing just an apron...don't want to get food on the fur. Another option is to have jewlery or bandolier with the same benefits of the apron that can only be work by Wookiees.

Not once anywhere in any documentation, for that matter, says anything at all about wookiees not being able to wear any armor. Read the description of wookiee in the manual:

"Towering, hairy humanoids known for their grat loyalty and inner strength. Wookiee's are the strongest species in the game. "

Hmmm. I don't remember seeing anything saying "Strongest species in the game, but you better not fight ANY other race because the few hundred extra HAM points is supposed to be equivalent for an 80% of composite or something.

I'm a wookiee and my alt is a human. Her character is a master chef while mine is a master doctor. Supposedy, they are looking at giving us some type of natural AR rating, but when things that are LOOTED like from a themepark mission, but you cannot wear, I believe is just twisting the knife even more. It's bad enough that wookiee's are penalized in combat by not being able to wear armor, but now even as crafters we're going to be penalized? Let's look at the problems associated with being a wookiee

No armor

No clothing( Ok I agree that we don't need it, but when most of the experimentation SEA's for doc or food are +1's and +2's and don't stack, there's not enough clothes that a wookiee can wear to even make that worthwhile.

No looted clothing that's a PRIZE for doing the new themepark?

No one sees a problem with this?
