Thread: I know I'll get shot saying this but...
I don't have it right in front of me, but the last tab should have something about retrieving your items from a sale. They should be under that.
I have problems finding large quantities of qualitiy resources on the bazaar or private vendors. I can tell folks till I'm blue in the face I need 1. high PE, 2. high flavor, 3. high OQ is ideal but 1 and 2 come first. Then I meet someone all excited to sell me this "great" flora they found...it'll be something like 100 each PE and flavor and 900 overall quality. Gee, maybe I can make pet food out of it... ![]()
I AM very picky about my resources, which is why I'm not comfortable relying on the bazaar or other suppliers. Besides, it's hard to give up harvesting which costs me 0.1 to 0.3 cpu vs. the 2-3 cpu on the bazaar...if I'm lucky.
no, they are gone from that tab.. I let them sit for a while thinking i had perma-storage...they vanished from the list but I now reach my limit of stuff I can sell 2 items earlier than I should. Oh well, lesson learned.
yea I have the same problem. Most professional miners focus on inorganics on my server. Then when they do stumble on something really nice, it does usually go around 10cpu for docs. I check the bazaar frequently and will buy stuff at 3cpu or a litle more if its great stuff but usually the stuff on bazaar is like 400 OQ, 500 PE, 200 fl...useless but for making spice and skilling with.
Yes, I have told the members of my guild about the qualities it takes for food, and they still say, "Hey, we have some great meet for you!" I look at it and it's 300 Flavor and Nutrition, and 957 OQ. I've even made numerous posts on our forums, including a very in depth FAQ about chefs and food, and they still do this too me...
In my original post, I was merely stating that this could be a good way to generate more commerce. If you can find one or two people you can trust to do things right, then hire out to them. I've done it once or twice, and it worked for me. ![]()
Nah, I like searching for my resources opposed to paying 10cr/u to a seller who was expecting a rich doctor to buy his 900PE/OQ resources that just HAPPEN to have 900flavor. ![]()
Then again, I DO bazaar forage sometimes where I looking for moderate resources for NO MORE than 3cr/u. If I were geared to get more money I'd resell it for higher prices, but instead I make food out of it and enjoy it. ![]()
I pretty much do this today. My main issue is that I had two account just from a storage view standpoint (and also hopes my wife will play on a second box one day.:smileyvery-happy![]()
Problem is that Holo-seeking has taken away any artisans who use to be resource gathering types, and finding bulk flora either on the bazaar, or vendors is near impossible these days.
Plus holo-chefs are driving the price of Wheat, Corn and Water throught the roof.
I actually agree with you. When it was 7 lots, that I thought could really hurt chefs. But when it is just 5 lots, that is doable.
Besides, only master chefs can have them, and by the time you get to that point...I think you should have enough money to buy resources.
The thing I've been doing when I buy resources is leaving them in the bazaar pickup window until I need it... unlimited storage capacity. ![]()
I hope there isn't a time limit on the items to be picked up. I have over 100 eggs in my vendor that I have bought off of people. Some of them have been sitting in there for about 2 weeks.
Yes, buying resources shouldn't be too bad, especially if we are picky with what we buy and how much we buy it for. If we are willing to just fork over anything, then the prices will continue to rise, but if we continually buy from the person that is charging 2-3 credits per unit, then others will lower their prices.... well, hopefully.
