Meparch, he's not talking about doing favors for a friend. He's saying anyone who wants a schematic here is one. Go make a 1000 additives.
This is like going to intel and saying hey i have a cpu fab plant can you give me the design blueprint so i can run off a bunch of cpu's.

Honestly, in the grand scheme of things Im not devaluing my whole profession, I am merely chosing to not value my time as highly. Just because someone can make 300-500k off one crate of food, doesnt mean Im entitled to a 10% cut for my part of the schematic.
My gaming experience is not about accumulating wealth, it's about player interactions. I have made quite a few pets, never sold a one. I chose to give them away to my friends who wanted em. I have made quite a few BE enhanced articles of clothing, given away what I could to those who wanted them, gave the rest to the guild leader for him to sell to make money for the PA. Now, Im turning my attention to chef additives for our guild's cook... Im having fun with it, dont see a need to (in my opinion only) greedy about it.

What you have to understand is this is an RPG game... We have an economy and in order for economies to work we have to charge for services.. I understand helping friends, myselfbeing a huge advocate of item trade over credit exchange. But understand what kind of problems this can create. You are devalueing the bio profession wether you believe it or not... So you might be having fun but you will kill the Bio's that depend on their skills for income. How quickly would grocery stores go out of business if someone decided to give food away.. Or how many cars would sell if they just handed them out for free at the local quickie mart? So maybe it does not affect your gaming experience... but i assure you it will affect many others.. rather selfish of you to be so generous

You realize if someone is charging 300k/crate, your 2k charge is like .01% or something? The time it takes for two people to meet, exchange resources, etc. is worth more than that, ignoring any value placed on the time you spent grinding and the skill credits you've invested. You're certainly welcome to charge whatever you like, but I find it really hard to believe that 50k or 100k isn't a fairer price.
Please don't take this as discouragement towards discussion, as the exchange of ideas is highly valuable and valued. What I'm saying is that a thread in which two sides keep repeating identical arguments over and over again is not a conversation, it's a waste of space.
