kiwik clusjo swirl - 40 berry
20 fruits
20 water

so you'll need at least this amount of resources to get to master (i'd at 10% to all of these numbers to account for crit failures):

cereal 18050
vegetable 18050
hide 3560
berry 95680
fruits 47840
water 47840

keep in mind berries are fruit and fruits are fruit but berries are not fruits. the "s" after fruit is important

I'm not really sure if "flaming" is that accurate, I try not to cross that line. Even that post I linked to before was tongue-in-cheek (well, mostly), and was more a product of a rough day at work than any realanger towards anybody.

Hopefully,there will always be enough people like you at stage 1 of PKStang's list to keep from scaring off too many up-and-coming chefs. And I really liked your "berries are fruit and fruits are fruit but berries are not fruits" explanation. That's been a common bit of confusion for people.

As for grinding, Pastebread at desserts 1 is a possible alternative to Synthsteak, especially if you can't find an affordable source of hides. It's also on a direct path to Kiwik, so that may compensate for the 21 less xp you get for each one.

What do you mean "berries are not fruit(s)". I can't make that recipe with 60 berries?

Nope. In the flora survey tool the catgories go something like this:

Flora Food
-> Seeds
-> -> Fruit
-> -> -> Berries
-> -> -> -> Foobar Tatooinian Berry fruit
-> -> -> Flowers
-> -> -> -> Blahblah Tatooinian Flower fruit
-> -> -> Fruits
-> -> -> -> Yakity-yak Tatooinian Fruit

Berries, Flowers, and Fruits all fall under the "fruit" category. Kiwik needs 40 berries and 20 Fruits, which means 40 Foobar and 20 Yakity-yak. Felbar requires 15 fruit (no 's') and 10 flowers, so you could make that with 25 Blahblah (since Flowers count as fruit), 10 Blahblah and 15 Foobar, or 10 Blahblah and 15 Yakity-yak.

Of course, just to make things even more fun, Bespin Port requires 25 Tatooinian Fruit (note the missing 's'), which still means only Yakity-yak, not either of the other two.
